Our guide was also an art expert, so shared information on that too. It was a lovely experience. We learned information we would not have picked up otherwise, and it was nice to wander the city and not have to navigate ourselves.

We had a wonderful time with Rafael on the food tour. All the food was delicious and I wish we could have eaten more. After have the pasta dinner and then going forward we were full. But, we ate all we could. Rafael explained the food, wine , customs, etc

Great tour, Chiara was a fantastic, fun host - engaging through out. Great to see some of the places you wouldn’t think to go or really see with the usual hundreds/thousands of reviews. The food at each stop was exceptional, worth getting the drinks extra too.

We had the pleasure of being taken on our food tour by Charles, who gave great suggestions, tidbits about Florence, and who took us through aperativi, pici, schiacciata (the loveliest, saltiest, oiliest focaccia alternative), gelato and more.
Charles was knowledgeable and great fun, and we greatly enjoyed both exploring the city and filling our tummies. Thank you!

This was recommended by a friend and I would recommend to anyone else! We only had about 24 hours in Florence and Martina made it amazing. It was perfect being able to see the city and get some facts while eating authentic Italian DELICIOUS dishes. Martina was very sweet and personable and could tell us a lot about Florence and Italy as a whole.

Martina was awesome! She was incredibly knowledgeable about food and Italian history. She was also quite entertaining and had us laughing the whole time. I would highly recommend her tour! Thanks for a great experience for our first time in Italy.

This was a wonderful tour of Florence food and wine. My partner was celebrating her birthday the day we took a tour and Charles (our tour guide) made sure to make her feel special!
There is PLENTY of food on this tour so my advice would be eat as little as possible, if anything at all, before this tour. You’ll have a great time!

You will walk, but it will be worth the steps. Our guide Martina led us through multiple courses at multiple stops, each one delicious. As it was just my husband and me (we appreciated that the tour was not canceled), we had a wonderful opportunity to ask questions and share observations with a native Florentine. Martina provided suggestions about things to see as well as regional foods to try. At my husband's request, she even gave us a list of her half dozen favorite gelato shops. My only suggestion is that the "meeting point" be described as "next to the statue" in the piazza, not simply "in front of the hotel." That lack of detail caused some confusion and anxious moments. Otherwise, a first-rate food tour.

We did an extended family food tour guided by Charles. It was a lovely 3 hours of meandering through the streets of Florence and stopping for different traditional Tuscan fare. Food was delicious and each shop owner was charming and welcoming. Charles was a friendly and informative guide maki g the tour even more pleasant. It was a lot of food so come hungry! Highly recommend .

Would definitely recommend this tour to get a sense of the unique foods that Florence has to offer! We enjoyed everything we ate which included aperitivos (cured meat/bread plate), pastas, bread soup, local sandwiches and gelato. Our guide Charles was excellent and offered a unique perspective on both Florence and Italian food / culture in general. If you are looking to be able to converse with a local while discussion and eating delicious foods (rather than a tour focused on history and landmarks) this is a great option for an afternoon in Florence!
