We had an amazing time with Chef Vary. There were four of us, and she totally altered the class and the recipes to fit our specific tastes! She was very informational and very fun! She made it all seem so easy and doable! I would totally recommend doing this tour because it feels much more authentic than a lot of the other cooking classes you'll find in Florence! The food was so delicious and we had plenty of time to enjoy our meal over a delicious glass of wine!

Enjoyed this experience and will return again,
I have taken several cooking classes in Florence area. This was by far the BEST.
We made two pastas from scratch , we made the pasta, not we watched a cooking demo.
Chef Vary was fun, professional, with safety and great tips on how to make our prepare different items.
Other pluses are (1) a morning class so you have the rest of the day to enjoy areas in Florence too.
(2jIt is walkable from most areas as the kitchen is located just beyond Pitti Paace
(3) very attentive to food allergies but doesn’t take away from the others folks food experience when preparing menu,( very adaptable,one us us has garlic allergy but the rest of us love garlic, no problem).
I hope you will give it a try, I know covid was hard on most folks and giving back while enjoying a meal you made is like double happiness.

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy! Chef Vary is fabulous and the food was absolutely amazing. She is an incredible host and I would recommend this class to anyone.

I purchased a cooking class with Chef Vary for my husband for his birthday to be utilized during our first trip to Italy. It was the best gift ever. Not only was it educational but chef vary made it fun. We had a small group of 8 and made 3 different pastas with 3 different sauces. They were delicious. We were then able to sit down and enjoy the meal without feeling rushed. This was all done in Chef Vary’s beautiful home in the heart of Florence. We highly recommend Chef Vary if you want to experience a true Tuscan dinner.

My friends and I did the three-hour small group cooking class with three different types of pasta for dinner. The couple was absolutely amazing and extremely welcoming. Their home was very inviting. Communication was very easy, because they spoke great English. We created the pasta from scratch and the chef provided interesting information about every ingredient we used. The class was structured very well and everything, from start to finish, ran very smoothly. Everyone was always contributing to the end product. It felt so authentic being in an Italian home in Florence which, for me, is far better than being in a large cooking class in the central market. I wouldn’t change a single thing about this class. I have been studying in Florence for three months and this is one of my absolute favorite memories yet. Best decision ever!!!
