我们第四次和Christian在蒙特普尔恰诺度过一星期的时光。每次我们去托斯卡纳，和Christian在一起的时候过得很特别，我们总是能学到一些我们喜欢的关于意大利葡萄酒的新知识。这次我们还上了披萨制作课，这是我们家和我们5岁的儿子永远不会忘记的事情。我们还参加了一天游，品尝了贵族葡萄酒，花了一天在布鲁内洛，一天在翁布里亚地区。我们一定会再次使用Viaggi D 'Ambra !!

We hired Christian to plan a large portion of our trip and he did not disappoint! He asked a lot of questions in order to plan an itinerary that would be perfect for our group of 5. We were very impressed with the quaint, boutique hotels that he booked for us, as well as the small tours of wineries and an organic cheese farm. He found fantastic guides for us to tour the Coliseum and Abrezzo. He picked us up promptly at the appointed time and treated us to personal stories of the area. His knowledge of the region was amazing, and he treated us like royalty. We would highly recommend Christian and his company and hope to cross paths with him again soon!

Our guide was incredibly knowledgable and a great guide. She had thought of every detail, including giving us headsets to listen to her speak into a microphone on the busy streets. She was attentive to our varied group needs and was very kind. We even saw her a couple times afterwards walking around Florence (as she has lived there for many years) and chatted and she gave us further recommendations. Overall a lovely experience, as was everything organized by Christian and Azzurra!

Although we had been to Florence many times before, our tour of the city with Christian quickly became our favorite. The difference with Christian is like visiting with a treasured friend who shared the secret spaces in the city as well as the important sites like the Duomo, Baptistry and the Piazza Signoria. Christian guided us to these sights using his wealth of knowledge of the culture, history and art of the city and its place in the world today. Our stops for gelato and caffe were at quiet spots away from the center of the city frequented by residents rather than other tourists. Unlike other tours, Christian paced the tour to accommodate everyone's comfort level and answered many questions about restaurants, credit cards, museums, and shopping with good humor. We still keep in contact with Christian and hope to visit Florence with him again as soon as possible.

...but I had to. Italy is my favorite place on the planet. And yes, it has the scenery and the wineries and the culture and the food and the people, but it's not the only country with all of those things. What separates Italy for me and my family, is Christian and Azzurra.
On two separate trips, we've done almost every tour they can offer us: small wineries, cooking classes, trips to small villages, and the Florence Walking Tour. Let me tell you, if you want to be a tourist in Florence without feeling like a tourist, this is the only way.
There's no need to latch onto a big dorky tour group with a guide holding a microphone and waving a sign. Christian made it seem like we were just visiting a friend. We saw all of the things we wanted to see but we also went to places he likes to go himself—meet the people he knows, eat the food he eats, drink the wines he drinks. This tour is simultaneously on the well-trodden road and off the beaten path. By the time it was done, we didn't feel like tourists anymore.
I can proudly say that after getting to know them so well, Christian and Azzurra have become almost an extension of our family. We still keep in regular contact and we send anyone and everyone we know who is going to Italy in their direction.
We think about Italy and those days with Christian every single day. So, I can confidently say without exaggeration that booking this won't just be your best decision in Italy, it will be one of the best decisions of your life.

In late November 2019 my family of 9 including 6 adults, 2 children ages 7 and 10, and an 11 month-old baby visited Florence for a few days during an 8-day Italian adventure coordinated by Viaggi D’Ambra. From our lovely hotel which was used in the movie “A Room with a View” many years ago. Our room had a postcard view of the beautiful Ponte Vecchio. Our guide in Florence provided by Viaggi D’Ambra met us at our hotel and we walked through the neighboring streets of Florence stopping along the way to view the famous Uffizzi Galleries. We passed the Straw Market and Piazza della Repubblica and passed the famous Duomo and the beautiful doors by Brunelleschi. We were given wonderful explanations of the history of these monuments. Our grandchildren loved the visit to the famous Academia to view the amazing statue of David by Michelangelo! There was no waiting on lines and it was wnderful to have our guide take care of everything. Our guide was wonderful with the children and spoke to them in a way to allow them to ask many questions while giggling at the huge statue!
There were stops along the way back to the hotel including a very important stop for gelati!
Viaggi D’Ambria’s thoughtful and knowledgeable guide made everything perfect during the three hours spent with her. Mille grazie!!! We wish we had had more time. Looking forward to another visit in the future!
