It was a horrible experience! I could’ve given 0 or negative if possible. I booked it 10 days before the tour stating. No one contacted me and responded my questions about the train tickets, exactly meeting point location and tour guide information, until the day before the tour, also after I complained to TripAdvisor a few times. They asked to change the tour date 1 day before the tour scheduled. I told them my plan has been scheduled fully, no way to change at the last minute. The train tickets were finally emailed me, started late as listed on the itinerary, then no one with the company Logo or my name at the Venice train station when I arrived. I had to use TripAdvisor website to submit a few messages (company phone number was fake and no one answered). Finally the tour guide arrived at the train station at noon time. He was nice, but had to leave early. The day tour was done by 0230pm. I spent $180 for day trip but It was only 2.5 hours! I asked to refund and they declined 😡

Trip was cancelled without warning.
We booked 10 tours in Italy with Viator for a two-week vacation celebrating our 40th anniversary. The trip to Venice was supposed to be the highlight of our celebration. The excursion was booked months in advance, and then cancelled without warning.
My first clue should have been the disclaimer that was displayed for this tour, but not for any other tour that I booked: "The local tour operator does not allow changes to this booking - all sales are final"
The second clue was a simple question I submitted, one month before departure. After submitting the question a second time, one week later, my questions was not answered for three weeks.
My third and final clue that this was an unreliable tour operator (Italian Holidays) was that the train tickets did not arrive the day before, as promised.
I called them multiple times, in the afternoon on the day before departure, from within their own time zone. They would not answer the phone. They did attempt to call me via WhatsApp, after I began calling them, but I was on the phone with Viator and unable to take their one and only attempt to reach me. One hour later I received a cancellation notification through Viator.
I searched for other tours to from Florence to Venice, to book in its place, but could only find one private tour for 9-times the price, which was way out of our price range. This was a horrible experience during what should have been a happy vacation.
Do not book this tour.
