This was such a fun tour. Our guide Lucca was fun. He knew a lot about the city and its history. Giving us more than just info about the wine part but also about the city and its history. The e-bikes were really fun and easy to operate, even though it was our first experience with them. Lucca was there to help us out and make sure we all knew what to do. He took his time and made sure everyone in the group stayed together. The experience at the winery was nice. Such a great story of its history and family. The lunch was actually much more than I expected and they took all our dietary needs into account. They had special plates of food for gluten free and vegetarian. It was a beautiful day!

Our guide Luca was great. We rode on top of the wall around the city. He explained the history in detail and is very proud of his city. We left the city and rode up into the hills. It is beautiful country and very quiet and peaceful. The electric bikes make it easy for anyone. I would recommend this tour to everyone.

It was beautiful, Lucca is a very nice city, as we were going as a family and one person felt insecure riding the cycle we decided to take a “cart/cycle” and the very kind and understanding boys. The vineyard, the guides, the wine and the amazing food. Thank you so much!

An Insightful and methodical planned tour of the city.
We were very impressed by the tour guide (Marta) and her exstensive knowledge of the city.
The e-bikes were the ideal mode of transport as they required little effort to get going and were certainly useful for inclines!
The wine estate itself was a beautiful setting. Again, with an extensive insight into the subject and some deliscious wines and cold meats to devour.
All in all a fantastic experience and great value.

We drove into Lucca with rental car from the south (1.5 hours) so parking and a bathroom seemed like a priority before the trip started. When you are getting close to the train station start looking for parking. We metered parked for a few euros for the several hour duration. Simple walk towards train station and the bike rental shop is to the left. There is a small cafe directly beside the bike shop- paid 2 euros for a pastry and used the toilet. Phew! Now the trip.
At the bike shop they were busy assisting several regular bike renters and it was a bit confusing who was on the ebike Trip Advisor trip and who was simply renting a regular bike. We didnt see the tour guide until 5 minutes before trip time so getting started and organized was a bit confusing at the bike shop. Once they understood we were waiting for the 10:00 tour, they stopped wanting me to “ get on a regular bike” when i said no.
Enjoyable guided tour around the city walls, a few stops to share history and one photo stop then out of city up two small hills to the winery. Ebikes were in great condition and made the ride easy and fun. There were ten bikers plus our guide who lead the way. Small 4th generational family winery- very kind and friendly tour w tasting and light food. One of our many day trips that we will remember with fond memories and recommend.

Nice easy ride.

We had a great morning with Sarah who could tell a lot of great things. The winery was just beyond the city limits and is easily accessible by bike.
The local ladies were very nice. The only drawback is that in Italy apparently nobody cares at what temperature wine is served. With an outside temperature of over 30 degrees, the wine was on the table for a long time and was more like a mulled wine and inedible. We therefore took a bottle with us and tried it at a temperature, as it was very pleasant to drink.
Overall, the trip is highly recommended.

The E-bike was absolutely wonderful, our guide was absolutely the best. While at the winery, we got caught in a downpour and they took us in their home to eat, drink and wait out the shower

Chiara was lovely and chatted a lot about Italian culture and the story of Lucca and it’s 3 walls . She arranged a vegetarian meal for me .. would highly recommend

Can you tell me more about the hills we cross on the ebikes? Our group ranges from 56-72 years old. Want to make sure it will work for everyone. No pending Heath issues in our group.
