This was a highlight of our trip! She is a delight and very easy to understand. We enjoyed the lighthearted tour through the streets of Lucca, enjoying the historical sites and local community vibe.

We truly enjoyed our carriage ride with Monica and her horse Luigi. It’s hard to say which of the two is the star of the show They were both delightful. This is a great way to get a tour of beautiful Lucca.

Absolutely amazing. The horse Luigi is the most beautiful creature. We had so much fun. Especially when he kept stopping at different shops for treats. Amazing. The tour was great, such a beautiful city and the guide was lovely, so friendly and knowledgeable. If you have time this is a must of you visit Lucca.

This was a perfect way to see the layout of the center of Lucca. The guide, a very competent horse person, provided many details about Lucca that explained the development of the center and included structures that added to understanding the center. It was added joy to see children’s eyes light up when they saw the horses. And I knew that the horse knew where it could stop for treats but that was still fun to watch.
Highly recommend the carriage ride.

Had a ride booked for the afternoon but the summer heat got too hot so the owner contacted us directly to change the time. Thank goodness. At 0900 it was ideal, we would have fried in the afternoon. Mainly of course the time was changed for Luigi the adorable horse. Unlike many cities and towns there only seems to be one operator so need to book. The carriage driver was brilliant at telling us about Luca and the history. Hilarious to see Luigi make his regular stops for snacks. Even at one point putting his head into a cafe and scaring a leaving customer! A must do in Lucca and glad to see the horses ( she has two who take turns) are looked after so well.

Marika und Luigi sind ein tolles Team. Die Kommunikation mit Marika war hervorragend. Alles hat funktioniert wie vereinbart. Unsere Töchter waren begeistert von Luigi und wir haben mehr von Lucca gesehen und über die Stadt erfahren, als wir es mit einem Stadtrundgang hätten. Es war ein schönes Erlebnis für die ganze Familie. Es ist absolut nachvollziehbar, dass Marika Toprezensionen hat. Absolute Kaufempfehlung!

Die Fahrt war sehr schön. Auf das Wohl des Pferdes wurde geachtet, Platz im Schatten, Wasser, Heu, gebisslose Zäumung und Pausen... Während der Fahrt erhielten wir interessante Informationen über Lucca.

Super regalo di compleanno fatto al mio ragazzo, Marika è speciale, trasmette la passione del proprio lavoro e l’amore che ha per i suoi cavalli Mario e Luigi. Il giro è fantastico non solo perché si può osservare Lucca nella sua bellezza come città ma perché si e accompagnati dalle spiegazioni di Marika. Luigi è stato fantastico ed è tenuto benissimo, ascolta la voce di Marika come guida senza costrizione, anzi ogni tanto si ferma nei negozi perché oramai sa che i negozianti gli riservano qualche leccornia come carote o pezzetti di pane.

Superb way to see the lovely city of Lucca.
Marika is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful and Luigi (the star of the show) is a real character and seeing people's responses to him as he walked around the city was wonderful.
If you've got limited time to spend in this lovely city then take this tour.
