We booked this tour for two couples who spoke English. We were joined by another English speaking couple and a couple who spoke no English.
The van was comfortable and accommodated 9 passengers. The guide was great but did not handle things as we would have wanted.
Issues:
1. The 4th couple (non English speakers) showed up with a mid-sized dog. It was a 9 passenger van, not 9 passenger and a dog. The driver did not poll the other passengers to see if there were any allergic to a dog or merely didn’t want to be around one.
2. The 4th couple got the tour in Italian while the English speakers waited patiently (and quietly) for the English version. When the driver started the English version this couple shared LOUDLY what they had been told, preventing us from hearing our rendition. They even got on their cell phones and carried on loud conversations.
3. The van needs speakers. Tourists in the second row reported not being able to hear. Those in the third row heard very little.
4. With the tour guide having to present everything in two different languages, we felt we missed out on some things. The tours should be booked with one language. Do an English tour and then do an Italian tour.
Both winery’s we were taken to were excellent. The staff at each were very nice and treated us as guests. Couldn’t have asked for better venues.

My husband and I had no idea how truffles were found. We know a lot more now.
We had a fabulous day out, walking in the forest with the young truffle hunters and their very well trained dogs. Everything was explained clearly and we saw stunning scenery. We even found a few truffles. Elicia was a great guide , she spoke English well and was very friendly. We enjoyed our lunch with her and tasting the truffles that we had found. Lucia was an excellent and friendly driver. We’d really recommend these small tours with wonderful local experiences.

Our guide Matteo was very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. On the drive to the wineries, he filled us in with much information about the area that we were traveling through. He took us to two different family operated wineries. Neither one was busy, which meant we had almost private tours. One was very small and the owner gave us the tour.
This was very special and the setting for our meal was magnificent.

Matteo was excellent. Warm and knowledgeable, he made the afternoon very enjoyable. We really enjoyed the two wineries we went too, they both had a very welcome and homey vibe. The platter at the second winery was the best we had in Italy so far. Would definitely do again.

Matteo took us for a wine tour in the stunning Chianti region. Matteo was flexible, very knowledgeable and fun !!!! We love the wineries he took us ... and moreover the stop we had for our lunch : it was just amazing!!! We highly recommend him if you want to explore the region

We had a wonderful experience on the half day wine tour with lunch.
Matteo was our driver and guide,he has vast knowledge of the Chianti area.
The wine tastings were great,but the highlight was lunch, prepared at the second winery/farmhouse.
Highly recommended this tour,you won't be disappointed

Gaia Bandini looked after my husband and I during the planning stages of our holiday to Tuscany and then once we arrived in Italy she was our number one contact.
We spent three days travelling and sight seeing with Gaia and had the most wonderful time.
When I managed to leave my dresses hanging in a closest 3 hours away after moving on the the next destination, Gaia arranged to have the clothing delivered to my hotel and saved the day !
We can highly recommend Gaia to co ordinate and assist you on your trip to Tuscany.
