Our visit to Tili was an exceptional experience and I say that as someone who frequently goes wine tasting, mostly in California, but also in France and Italy. We tasted 7 wines and had delicious pairings of Umbrian appetizers alongside. It sounds trite to say we felt like family, but we were treated so warmly and we felt so comfortable sitting outside admiring the vineyards and view to Assisi and Perugia. The wines were outstanding-and we have a deeper understanding of the varietals and the history behind them. It made for such a lovely memory and I hope to return someday.

What struck us most about this tasting experience was the pleasant intimacy, essential for the development of a beautiful moment of sharing the genre, perpetuated by the very kind owner of the company. “You don’t get old at the table.” Long live wine and long live Tili wineries!

My wife and I went during our honeymoon. Genuinely the best wine of our lives, and the views were absolutely incredible. The staff were knowledgeable and super friendly, they even gave us free wine for our honeymoon. If you’re thinking about booking this, just do it!

A beautiful location with great wines, great food and a spectacular view. The family that runs it is delightful, knowledgeable and informative. They will ship their wines home for you at a very reasonable price. They even e-mailed a family cookbook after our visit, which I have already used. Highly recommend.

It was a truly wonderful lunch. We tasted several (I think 5) wines and had a scrumptious 4 course lunch…antipasti, freshly made pasta with truffles picked that morning, the most delicious roasted eggplant Parmesan and ended with an exquisite panna cotta with fresh fruit. Best meal we had in Italy so far! After ordering some of their wine to ship home, we added both their olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Bellisimo!
