Our guide was knowledgeable and encouraged questions. The pace was leisurely and gave time to stand and listen. We walked a lot through the small old town so you have to be able to walk up and down hills

Excellent walking tour of Old Town! The guide was a Zurich native, very knowledgeable, personable, and helpful! She pointed out many sights and gave lots of inside tips!

It was very difficult to hear the tour guide. We tried to get closer but maybe it's a function of going in a larger group in the city in the afternoon. However, we did hit quite a few interesting locations in old city and gave us a sense of places we could visit during our trip (we set it our first day to beat jet lag and get a sense of the city right away). They gave us a coupon for one of the Christmas market wines which was kind. I wish there would have been more history of the city incorporated into the tour.

We have a limited group size and loudspeakers for the tour guides to prevent this as much as possible. Especially in places like Bahnhofstrasse and in the run-up to Christmas, this cannot always be completely avoided. We hope despite the difficulties you were still able to hear everything and would like to apologize for the inconvenience.
We are also pleased that the tour gave you a good overview of Zurich and will be happy to pass on your feedback regarding the history part internally.

The downtown is full of Christmas lights and very easy to get there with Uber and train pass if you staying for a week or more.
The prices are not too crazy for food if compared to London or USA.

basic good walking tour, it could be more detailed with more history and architecture facts, the guide Alla was quite nice and she tried hard to be open and welcoming even if the conditions were not ideal (snow, slush, cold weather). We liked it !

What a wonderful English speaking tour with Andrea this morning. So informative and answered our many questions about life in Switzerland, Zurich and the places we walked around. A largish group but everyone could hear Andrea. We were only in Zurich for one night so a great way to learn about the old town.

We took the train from the airport to the main station (Zurich HB). Then we walked along Bahnhofstrasse then up Rennweg. Our hotel was at the end of Rennweg in the old city. The walk was about 10 minutes. We had two medium suitcases and hand luggage. It was very straightforward.
