Our guide Cecilia was so knowledgable and interesting! She gave us so much incredible information and made the museum so much more interesting than if we'd done it ourselves. We had a great time and learned a lot! So happy we did this tour!

Ewald was a fantastic knowledgeable guide! Ewald’s communication pre-tour was excellent and he met our group exactly on-time. His knowledge of the artwork gave us a deep appreciation for the artist and his very unique style. Ewald was accommodating when a few of us needed a quick break halfway through the tour for a rest and coffee. Would highly recommend!!!!

We took the guided tour of the Van Gogh museum with Anna. This was by far, one of the most fascinating tours I’ve ever taken. Anna’s enthusiasm made it extremely engaging and her knowledge was vast.

Outstanding experience - we were fortunate to have Ms Anna Nikolaeva to guide us thru a 2+ engaging and fascinating tour of the museum and Van Gogh’s life. She showed not only deep knowledge of the subject but also of modern art in general and a number if insights for us to better understand and appreciate the work we saw. She was also very tailored with her explanations given the fact we had with us two teenagers and a 9 year old so they were engaged throughout and also enjoyed and participated actively to the conversations. The booking, instructions and reminders were timely and clear, hence a truly smooth and meaningful experience.

It was an amazing tour and I really enjoyed it! The time has passed so quickly as I was so focused and happy with the tour. The tour guide (Anna) was an amazing storyteller and connected all drawn pictures together with the story of Van gogh and the important people in his life. I really enjoyed the tour. The 4 of us had private tours at the Van Gogh museum given by Ewald. Ewald is very knowledgeable with all the paintings in the museum. We learned so much from him about the history of the paintings in the museum, thanks to the excellent tour guide Ewald 🙌

Carola guided us through the Van Gogh Museum expertly. She took time to answer questions and thoroughly explained the art and gave insight as we went along. She engaged the members of the group by asking for our thoughts and wove our thought into the whole experience. Thanks so much! Another successful guided tour!

My question: if six of us pay for a private guide, does the word “private” mean that no other people will be added to our group, people that the six of us do not know?

Depends on the size of your private tour. If six is the limit and you have six going, then you will be together if you book as such.

The website will not let me book a tour on june 9 for 2 people. What is wrong?

I gave it a try just now, and I did have to click the calendar, then fill in the # of people, and click the "check availability" button. I did have to click "check availability" a few times before the system actually performed the search, but it did pop up availability for 2 at 10 am on the 9th, although the price for that spot is $164 per person.
