I booked three months in advance as part of a pre-cruise stay in Amsterdam. I had many options at the time I choose them, but no options when they canceled the tour the day before! They canceled on me last minute, and it was too late to get another tour!

Great to have a small group experience and avoid the tourist throngs. Also our guide and driver was the perfect balance of history and factoids as well as social interaction without being overbearing. It helped break the ice with the other guests. I highly recommend this tour and experience. We visited the dairy farm, cheese factory, wooden shoemaker and of course the windmills. The small group makes it very agile for insertion and extraction from the windmills which were the heaviest tourist draw. It's not that I am anti-social, I'm just not happy with being on a large bus with many people herding our way through the day. Great experience and really helped us maximize our limited time that day before leaving the Netherlands.

We had such a great time and our tour guide was amazing! So full of interesting information and tidbits about the land, water, and the people. He took extra time to answer all our questions. It was so worth the money!

Guide was amazing. Very hind, helpful and authentic. He took us to unique places and less visited marina and beautiful wood home community. Very comfortable and low stress approach. Thank you!

Small group tour is definitely worth the additional cost to enjoy the quaint area just outside of Amsterdam. Our guide/driver Goulven aka "G" was perfect for our congenial group of six -- knowledgeable about the area and history (and the world beyond The Netherlands too.) Our tour was un-hurried so we had plenty of time to relax, shop and enjoy the beautiful views. We got lucky with weather and had a delicious lunch at a perfect spot right on a canal. Highly recommend!

Our small group of 4 ( could probably take 6) was most enjoyable. Our guide Ali was excellent, great narration while traveling to sights. He knew the people at the locations and we were given special attention. The family Cheese farm and wooden shoe factory was more interesting than I expected. The windmills were a required visit but several bus loads were there ( unavoidable) and we chose not to pay the fees to enter each windmill but that was just a personal preference.
The fishing village, tour and lunch on a barge in town was enjoyable and fun. An additional small village walk through was fun. All possible due to our small group size.
Ali was terrific and I would advise spending the extra money for this tour vs the large busses if you can afford to do so.

Great small group tour. Thoroughly enjoyed it being a small group and no rushing around. Our guide G was amazing and very knowledgeable. We learnt lots about Holland today.

What an amazing time we had, ticked every box and was taken off the usual circus to smaller intimate sights. Ali, our driver was so full of knowledge and super friendly and really enjoyed showing us around. There was only 2 of us on this tour, so it felt like a private tour. Thankyou for taking us and delivering your promise of a real Dutch experience. Don’t hesitate and just book, you will be thanking me for my honest review.

I believe children are allowed, we had one on our tour, however not sure of the cost as he was with his parents that was part of the 8 person tour. Children between the age of 4-7 and then adult prices start from 8-99. If you click on the reviews, it takes you to the actual tour and if you click on availability it will give you the option to select Travelers and this is where you can see the prices when you are going to book.

You get a more in depth tour of the windmills and other sights. It is more leasure speed. If you are older this is the one to take. You can walk slower. You also have time to ask plenty of questions, take loads of photos and eat lunch.
