Such an interesting side of Amsterdam to learn about. Arun was very professional and handled the topics of red light District and ”coffeeshops” with grace and practicality. We would probably not have gone through this area on our own but truly appreciated the opportunity to hear about the history and see how things are operating today. Well done Arun!

We appreciated the customizing of the tour to things that we responded to. He went through a lot of details on history that were fascinating - he knows his stuff. I definitely learned a great deal more about Amsterdam than had I not been on this tour.

Maarten is a vessel full of knowledge. In a captivating amical way, he told us so many interesting and fun things that time flew by. Next time we will definitely do a tour with him again!

Our tour with Marten was myself and my husband. It was pouring rain and we still had an amazing time. Marten is so knowledgeable and had a great spirit despite the bad weather. We learned so much about Amsterdam and got to see so much beauty. 10/10 recommend Marten to experience Amsterdam!

Marten was knowledgeable, personable, funny, and easy to talk to. We truly enjoyed his insights regarding the red light district but also Dutch culture in general.

Helena our guide was absolutely terrific guiding us through the history and highlights of Amsterdam and the Red Light District. Her passion and knowledge was astoundin and contagious , as was her humour and sense of fun. Helena made us feel so welcome and a 2 hour tour turned into 3 . She was always mindful of our wishes, checking if we had particular things we wanted to see or do. She also emailed us extra places to see and do whilst in Amsterdam.
Would highly recommend Helena and this tour!

Arjun was a superb guide.
Knowledgeable, responsive, informative.
We adjusted the pace for us and guided us to our dinner spot.

Helena,
Was absolutely a gem. She showed us around everywhere. Explained so many interesting things along the way. The 2 hours passed in no time!!! She also sent us tidbits of information for later in the trip!! Price was well worth the experience.

Helena war der Hammer! Von der warmen Begrüssung bis zum Abschied eine tolles Erlebnis. Helena ist wirklich eine Insiderin und kennt das ganze Viertel seit Jahrzehnten! Ihr wissen und die Geschichten sind toll, dann noch das Ganze in ihrem Lieblingspub bei einem Bier abrunden war genial!

If the meeting location is not listed in past correspondence, you should contact him or her for a mutual spot. We met our guide, Willem, at the Central train station (a suggested spot), because we took the train from the Tulip Inn, near the airport. Let your guide know where you are staying and they will work with you
