Good long day from 9.30 to 4pm. Very interesting stop offs. Wear comfy shoes. Food and drinks not included or €5.50 entry to windmills.

The weather cooperated to shine sun upon us as we traveled through the Holland countryside. The guide ability to communicate in English, Spanish, and Dutch was impressive.
The tour was a little open we visited some areas as the town with the Dyke and Edam with great flexibility on where to go. Some of the participants felt a little lost as just where to go. The group was a little large for the guide to keep track of but over all everyone made it back to the bus in a timely manner.

Had a really great tour with Jolanda. She gave great information and took us to charming places. I feel that everyone should do this tour, we had a lovely time and even met new friends.

Our guide Ara was very informative and very personable. A recommendation for the day would be to spend extra time at Volendam,say 30 mins as we only had time for lunch, no time to wander around Volendam. Less time could be spent at Zaanse Schans by 30 mins. Other than that it was a great day. Edam was a beautiful town.

This tour was great! As opposed to some other reviews I think we had plenty of time in each spot. Harold was a great tour guide, he made sure everyone could hear him at all times, kept track of the group and was quite informative (and funny). I would definitely recommend this tour!

We had a wonderful day with a great guide, named Eva! She knew a lot about everything, she was incredibly excited! We tasted delicious homemade cheese, went to Edam and took beautiful photos! Volendam we tasted amazing smoked fish and after that we went to the windmills on the Zaanse Schans.

This was a very enjoyable trip for us (me, my wife & our 10-year-old son). Jolanda was a great tour guide whom we had met the previous day as our tour guide on the Anne Frank walking tour. We liked how personable she was and the interesting and succinct way in which she told history without judgment. We were blessed with good weather on the day of the trip which was a bonus. There was air conditioning on the bus which was really appreciated (although no wifi or plugs to charge up phones but that was ok). The different parts of the day were well-spaced out. Our son commented on how he enjoyed hearing the presentation of how the cheese was made and then being able to sample different types of cheese. He also enjoyed seeing how clogs were made and seeing the different clogs on display. My wife is a history buff and particularly liked that aspect of the tour. I found it refreshing and well thought out with lots of opportunities for great photos. The walk around Edam, the visit to the farm where the cheese was made, the visit to Volendam & finally the visit to the windmills were all enjoyable. It was also good that we were able to return to the coach early at the Volendam and windmill parts of the excursion as our energy levels were dipping a bit and we wanted to relax a bit.

My sister, daughter and myself took the tour and loved it. Wished we could have spent a little more time in Edam but overall it was a day well spent and we were all glad we made the time.

We are interested in this tour for 14 people (adults) on October 26, 2021. However, we can only start at 1 pm at the earliest. We will be staying at Apollo Hotel Amsterdam. Pick up & drop off from hotel would be best. Its not a problem, if the tour was cut short a bit . Please advise soonest.

I did not use a tour group! Easy to take the train from Amsterdam Central to Zaandam— 12 min direct, then a bus to windmills — another 10-15”
I love strolling through Zaandam a few blocks and then catching the bus, it’s a cute town
