Robert, our guide was on time, well organized, and was answering all my questions about Amsterdam and Holland, all day. The area of Zaanse was a don't miss part of a trip to Holland and Volendam was a quaint stop for shopping and lunch.
Great tour and it was personalized for as much time needed for shopping or just exploring.
I would suggest going this tour if you don't want to be stuck with someone else's timeline.

The tour was excellent and well planned. The staff was very nice. The places that we went were great mainly a cheese factory, stroopwaffel factory.

Had been to Holland many times before but only Amsterdam, so wanted the whole shebang--windmills, cheese, wooden shoes. This tour did not disappoint. Left from main train station in air conditioned bus with great guide. Visited Edam and a cheese factory, stroopwaffel factory, wooden shoes factory, and a short ferry ride across the zuider zee. Perfect for a family, young or old.

Amazing impression in one day of Dutch history and culture! Our guid, Alexandra was so friendly and told us a lot about Holland and its history abd culture. The private tour was in a relaxing spacious car. Great experience!

The 30 minute bus trip from the heart of Amsterdam was well worth it. We were met with spectacular views of these historic mills and houses. There are 8 windmills built from 1574 onwards. We decided to pass up the bike hire and instead walk the path alongside the windmills and back, which took about 1 hour in total (inclusive of all of our stops to admire the architecture). Worth a visit for sure.
