my wife and i reserved a private cab from the amsterdam cruise ship docks to schiphol airport on may 19th 2019 our
booking number was br-65947558.We paid in advance $85us to viator a trip advisor company.THe pick-up time was 8am local time. Guess what,the driver never showed up.The ship we were on docked in amsterdam on 5am that morniing my wife and disembarked at 7am and proceeded to our arranged pick up spot we stood there until 830am and finally had to take a regular cab to the airport to catch our flight home we had to pay that guy 100 ueros, During our waiting time there were other private arranged cab drivers who tried to assist us by calling the contact phone number that we were given our booking they told us there was only an answering machine response.When we arrived home we called Viator for a refund a few days later i received an email informing that Viator contacted the taxi group operator and the driver told them that we didn't show up. Can you imagine that we would pay another 100 ueros for a cab ride that we had already paid 85us . In conclusion we believe that we were ripped off by a taxi group operator in Amterdam and we would advise anyone not to book with them through Viator unfortunately they were no help with our issue,and in my opinion give trip advisor a strike against them.

I totally understand that you are very upset that your driver did not show. The booking BR-65947558 was not made with our company though. I can not see with which company you did book it, but it wasn't with Rudy's Taxi Company. I am really sorry that you and your wife had this unfortunate experience but also kindly request you to place the review with the company that actually did leave you stranded!

Wonderful experience with Rudy's taxi service from the Port to Amsterdam and Amsterdam to the airport. Booking was easy from the states with great follow through. At the port the driver was easy to locate, professional and polished. He helped with our luggage and promptly drove us to the hotel! What a pleasure. We had a very early flight the next day and right on the dime the driver was at our hotel. He was also very professional and took extra effort to get us a luggage cart at the airport. This company is A+++.

Our driver was on time (in fact early)and was additionally very helpful in directing us as to where the meeting point was in the airport. Very dependable company. We had also used this company as a transfer from the airport to the hotel--awesome--Rudi was waiting by the luggage with our names on a sign--less stress for us. Highly recommend Rudi and his company.

When on vacation I don't like to chance anything--after several legs of exhausting travel it was a relief to have the driver from Rudy's waiting to pick us up! And as we booked a return to the airport--at a 5:30 am pickup time--it was even more relaxing knowing that the driver would be there. Both drivers were courteous, professional, helpful and on time! My advice is to start your vacation the right way--I will book with them my next visit to Amsterdam!

Rudy was able to book us at the last minute for a private transfer to the airport after we discovered the 1st train would run too late. He was on time in an immaculate vehicle. I would highly recommend his services.
