Had a fantastic time. Our tour guide was absolutely fantastic. He took us on a nice, romantic tour of the canals in Amsterdam. He explained the sites along the way and was very knowledgeable of Amsterdam. He even had a variety of cables so that I was able to charge my cell phone. As we were cruising the canals, we reached our hotel close to the end of the tour and he offered to dropped us near our hotel so we did not have to pay for a taxi to return.

Pomp was very friendly! We loved the tour especially earlier in the am when the city was quiet. He was quite accommodating and our ride was comfortable. The only thing that would have made it better would be to have a little more history and explanation of the architecture or important events, etc. Overall I would definitely recommend this!

It was very special for us to have the boat for ourselves. Paap the captain is very skilled and he knows his job well.
He even agreed to pick us up from a point very near to our hotel and dropped us near Dam. We appreciate his flexibility.

Wirklich haben die Bootsttour online gebucht. Wir haben hatten keine Lust auf Massentourismus und Gedränge.
Daher diese Buchung. Wir haben hatten ganz viel Glück. Wir haben waren die einzigen an Bord um diese Uhrzeit(20.30 Uhr).
Das Boot war für 8 Personen ausgelegt.
Der Captain war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Er konnte uns jede Frage beantworten und hat uns von sich aus auch sehr gut unterhalten.
Es war eher "freundschaftlich" und persönlich als nur stupide und eine Standard-Tour.
Wir haben unser jede Sekunde sicher gefühlt und hätten nie das Gefühl, dass der Captain das Boot nicht unter Kontrolle hat.
Wir haben 1,5 Std. gebucht und waren sogar länger unterwegs.
Mit 120€ pro Person nicht gerade günstig, aber jeden Cent wert!
In der Abenddämmerung war es sehr toll, romantisch und beruhigend. Wir waren konnten diese ganze Fahrt genießen.
Wer etwas Bessonderes erleben möchte - hier habt Ihr die Möglichkeit!

What a wonderful way to see Amsterdam. The boat captain was cheerful and knowledgeable and a pleasure to be around. The boat itself was clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend doing this while in Amsterdam.

Paap was amazing! The boat was clean and he was very friendly. He was extremely informative, but also did not intrude on the fact that it was a romantic Canal tour. Overall, we highly recommend this experience. We felt like we left with another friend in Amsterdam!

Sadly we were waiting for the boat and literally got a call from a woman saying the boat wouldn’t start. :( One star feels a bit mean cos..
These things happen of course but was so disappointing as it was my birthday and the only thing we’d actually planned months ahead of our trip.
Just be warned in case of disappointment.
Mark who was our captain though sounded really nice via text on the way there and gave clear instructions etc.
Just not the best start to the day.

Unfortunately because of circumstances beyond our control we were unable to do the tour.
Sadly the boat had a technically issue.
We fully realize that this is really disappointing for you and for us.
Unfortunately we were unable to reschedule on the same day. So we immediately refunded your fee.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the canals with Skipper Paap. He was entertaining and informative and answered all our questions. We both leaned a great deal about the history of Amsterdam and its stunning architecture and infrastructure. Highly recommend!

We are really glad to have chosen this tour vs the many other party boats. We had a wonderful, informative 90 minute tour throughout the canals of Amsterdam. They were very accommodating when we rescheduled due to rain. They were great! We would highly recommend this tour!!!

Yes we brought wine, cheese and crackers and it was lovely. Just do not bring glass wine glasses, he will provide cups.

We will be in Amsterdam in October and I suspect evenings can be cool on the canals. Is the boat open and should we expect to bundle up at that time of year?

Different boats have different layouts. Some are fully covered, some partly covered, some wide-open. It's wisest to ask before you book. Our boat was partly covered, but it was mid-June and a mild evening.The boat was basic and small, but the driver was a lifelong local, so he had many interesting stories to tell AND he picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel--an unexpected treat (because he had to pass by our hotel on the way to the pick-up spot).

on our boat. no. but they can stop at many places so you can go there. so no problem. we did not though. but we also didnt drink during the tour.
