Had a wonderful early morning cruise with Captain Dave and our fellow passengers on the historic Jonckvrouw. The boat is beautiful and Dave is fun and informative and keen to make it a personalised tour. There are only a maximum of 12 passengers and it is a special time to cruise. The drinks are plentiful and tasty sugar bread is available. Captain Dave even allowed our son to pilot the boat making him beam with pleasure and a great moment to treasure.
A small boat cruise may cost a little more but it makes for a lot of happy memories!
If you want a relaxing quality experience on the water, we recommend you join Captain Dave for an Amsterdam canal cruise that is a bit more special and memorable!

Dave made the whole experience very entertaining and enjoyable as he shared many anecdotes about his special boat, the city, and life in Amsterdam. His interaction with passengers ensure that it felt personal, relevant and highly enjoyable. Thank you Dave.

Great instructions for meeting place. A warm welcome and lovely canal boat
Loved the history of the boat, along with the story and photos of the renovation journey
Interesting trip, lots of sites and information about Amsterdam
Lovely to be able to meet fellow holiday makers and chat in an relaxed and comfortable environment. Enjoyed the tea and coffee too

A wonderful way to experience the canals. Our guide was so knowledgable and helpful. The boat was beautiful and so comfortable. Gliding along the canals with coffee and delicious sugar bread, having the history of the canals and buildings explained in such an interesting way - fantastic!

Small, intimate, upgraded electric powered former Royal vessel. Lovely decor, personable local resident Captain provided variety of refreshments, ongoing discussion of Ámsterdam history, Culture, Local sites. Small vessel provided extensive access to narrow canal passages.

A really good experience, telling us lots of things about Amsterdam we did not know in spite of being fairly frequent visitors. Very good to see the city from the water at a tranquil pace.

Captain Dave is the best, we had a wonderful time and would recommend to anyone - this is THE canal tour to take. We enjoyed the small group size, beautiful boat, and Capt Dave's knowledgeable narration and warm hospitality

Captain Dave provided a wonderful tour for our early morning. He was entertaining and very knowledgeable. The boat is beautiful. I loved the small group atmosphere, the stillness of the morning, coffee, and of course, the delicious bread. Thank you, Captain Dave!
