The host and hostess (Josephine) were lovely. The electric engine was very quiet which helped me to hear most of what was being said. Nice food and ample drinks.

Honestly so fun. The guide was great, and all the passengers had fun together! Good snacks and plenty of wine 🙂. It was great having 2 hours on the boat!

I’m so glad we chose this tour over the others offered.
Our clan was two well -traveled adult parents, two happy-to be-paid-for college kids, and one generally agreeable 16 year old. Everyone was happy!
Jon was a delightful host/captain and most eager to please. We enjoyed our refreshments and a beautiful afternoon on the canals.
The vibe was relaxed and leisurely -like attending a cocktail party on the nicest private boat in the City. Do go.

Very personal interaction with the tour guide, he did a very nice job asking all the people in the boat for their backgrounds which broke the ice and got us all talking. Very knowledgeable guide -- Klaas :-)

We had an incredible time on the ultimate Amsterdam canal cruise!! Mischa was a wonderful and jovial host, by far the most entertaining, informative, hilarious and hospitable tour guide we’ve ever encountered. Our whole family agreed that this was the highlight of our trip. We let loose and befriended our fellow boat mates while sharing Amsterdam’s finest. You don’t want to miss out on this experience and make sure to ask for the mouse, Mischa, he will make your trip infinitely more fun and memorable!

The whole experience from stepping onboard the cosy boat to wobbling off at the end was DELIGHTFUL!
Our guide James - what a guy! A genuine, knowledgeable tour guide who fascinated us with enough information but left us to take in and enjoy the sights at the same time.
To compliment this, a beautiful, individual couples platter of cheeses, breadsticks, olives, grapes, crackers, mini sausages, shortbread and stroop waffles had been lovingly prepared by James’ fiancée which went down very nicely with a fully stocked, self serve bar.
If I can recommend one thing, please book direct with PURE BOATS and don’t do what I did by booking through an agent. Not only did I pay more through the agent but I find it’s always nicer to show your support to the actual company, especially when the company is worth every Penny due to their diligence and service they offer.

Yes. This tour was wonderful. They served wine, soft drinks and snacks. There were only 10 people on the boat. The guide was very informative and entertaining. I don’t remember the cost. We went by other tours which were much larger and impersonal. Enjoy.

Most, If not all, boats have a cover. Amsterdam tends to have unpredictable weather, and the captains are always prepared.
