Excellent tour with very knowledgeable guide . The walking tours of Delft and the Hague were highlights. The museums had been upgraded and modernized since our last visits .

Our guide Steve is excellent and was very courteous. His knowledge of the places and art is superb. We highly recommend him for anyone interested in this tour to see the Girl with the Pearl earring.

The visit to Delft was a delightful surprise especially the emphasis on Vermeer. We really enjoyed walking around the town square and learning the history of the town. Of course the highlight of the tour was the visit to the Mauritshuis Museum in The Hague to see so many great paintings by Rembrandt and Vermeer.

We really enjoyed our time on this tour, from the moment Steven picked us up at the hotel. He started the tour almost immediately, and I learned more about Amsterdam than I had picked up in my reading before.
Because this was a private tour we were able to stop and see the tower gate before entering Delft. Delft itself is great. We couldn’t hike up the church tower because mass was happening. And the Delft ware shop where they still hand paint their goods was closed, but we knew when we booked that going on Sunday could be a problem. We went to the Vermeer museum and saw life size reproductions of all 37 known Vermeer paintings, which was fascinating. And we had lunch at a local cafe, which was delicious and relaxing.
Then we drove to The Hague, whose modern architecture is amazing, and Steven told us the nicknames of some of the buildings. Then we went to the Mauritius museum where we saw many great paintings in addition to the Girl with the Pearl Earring.
After that we walked around some more and saw a local crafts festival and walked out to the temporary inflatable art exhibit.
Great fun, and well worth the time and money.

My wife and I greatly enjoyed the Visit the Girl with the Pearl Earring, The Hague & Delft City - Private Day Tour. Steve is personable, friendly and full of knowledge about Netherlands history, culture and the sites visited. His knowledge of the art in Mauritshuis made the tour outstanding. The timely pickup and drop off at our hotel plus his readiness to accommodate our interests and desires was much appreciated. He is an excellent driver and his vehicle is comfortable. Overall an outstanding tour. Well worth the price.

What an amazing day!!! From the moment Steve, our guide, collected us from our hotel we were entertained. We started by going to Delft where he pointed out various aspects of the city and then took us to the museum where we saw them come to life in Vermeer’s art. What a genius way of making us appreciate what we were seeing. Couldn’t be more grateful for the whole experience!

Outstanding tour. Steve was knowledgeable and entertaining. Enjoyed his stories very much. Highlight was seeing the Girl With Pearl Earing. It was a great day, fun, met and exceed my expectations and much much more. If you are looking for a private tour experience, this is the one to choose. Definitely recommend Steven. Cannot go wrong. As a travel advisor I will most certainly be recommending Steven to my clients

We so very much enjoyed this day tour and the chance to get out of Amsterdam without having the stress of doing it on our own. Our stop at De Candelaer in Delft was lovely, and The Mauritius is just fantastic. It was a treat we will not soon forget to see not only The Girl With a Pearl Earring but also View of Delft and Ice Scene. Throughout the day our guide was professional, organized and knowledgable. We highly recommend this tour and any other tour he runs.

We spent 3 days with Steve on 3 different tours. Each tour was 5 stars, so
Steve is a 15-star guide! He is native born, has an engaging personality and has the knowledge to genuinely provide the experiences you are seeking. He weaves the character of the Dutch culture throughout his tours--a true professional. You will enjoy every minute spent with him. And, as a bonus, his English is superb and his driving impeccable!
