Great trip to wonderland on blessed sunny day. Overall great experience. Thanks to Jay and Schekel (forgive me if spelling wrong). Jay was wonderful with stories and very informative. Driver was friendly and very safe hands. Everything was planned by tour operator to the minute with adequate time. Thanks again for wonderful trip.

The whole day was incredible! Jay (our tour guide) was so engaging and fun. He provided so much information on the history on Amsterdam and the Netherlands in general. His sense of humor and his ability to make stories engaging were above and beyond our expectations. He even stopped and purchased an apple for everyone on the bus. Our bus driver was also awesome! Jacko (at least that’s what Jay called him) made it smooth and easy. The bus ride felt like a breeze and Geithoorn was beautiful! So many scenic areas to see and they provided great insight to the region and history. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

It was a long day, but perfectly suited to someone who wants to leave the hassles to someone else and who wants to learn a great deal about the Netherlands and to have fun. We met at a central location at 8:00 am and learned a great deal about the history, culture and geography of the area, among other things. The driver, Jay (?), had a wonderful sense of humor and made everything fun while informing. The day is about visiting two major tourist attractions well worth the visit, especially at low season. It’s great fun to learn about the how and why of cheese production and clogs. Both the wind mills site and Geithoorn are immensely picturesque, and the tours provide ample time to stroll, shop, eat and take photos. I tried to avoid the crowds on a different day of adventure. Trying to navigate the public transportation system and learn anything about where we were going and anything along the way on my own was a big fail. I realized that, in the future, I would join a tour if I wanted to see and learn a great deal in one day. This tour did not disappoint. Most importantly, our tour guide made it both intelligent and fun. Thanks Jay!

Such a lovely experience! My friend and I were visiting Amsterdam and wanted to see more of the countryside, but had limited time. This trip was the perfect way for us to see more of The Netherlands and experience the culture outside of the big city. The towns we visited on this tour were gorgeous and a highlight of our trip. The tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly - providing us with fun facts about the country and its culture and making it an enjoyable day. You won't want to miss out on this wonderful opportunity!

Great tour, great place to visit. It’s not too far from Amsterdam for a day trip. Our tour guide also made a stop at a fruit market for fresh local fruits. It was a fun trip. We hope will be back soon.

Good tour, but time management was egregious. What should have been a 6 hour tour ended up being 11 due to poor time management.

Great day trip! Fernando did a great job and the group was fun to be around. The trip was structured but also afforded free time to explore on our own. Very comfortable Mercedes motor coach!

After the 1 hour boat tour how much free time do we get to explore Giethorn?

There is plenty of time after the boat ride to enjoy Giethoorn. A couple of restaurants to pick between for lunch and a handful of shops. We didn't feel rushed, and were more than ready to leave at the allocated time.

Hi :) The tour we ordered via Tripadviser included a guided tour on a boat. After the guided tour you will have some time on your own to explore the village. So, you can rent a small boat and try to row through many other crashing boats :) You do not need to have a ‘driving license’ to row the boats. Have a nice trip!

Hi! I plan to go on this tour with my mom. She can walk well enough, but gets tired easily. Can we take a folding travel wheelchair with us in case she gets tired?

Probably but ask about it when you make your reservation. I wish I'd had a transport chair on my visit it would have been more enjoyable. If you are assigned to Saeed he uses a van that seats 6 in the back. It did have a " trunk space" just not sure how large.
I hope it works out for you, it is a long day trip and so much beautiful area to see. There is a trip on one of the canals too. She will need to have assistance to board and disembark the boat. It's all sitting once she is onboard. Have fun. A true memory awaits.
