Jareau gave us a first class, private tour of Rotterdam. He took care of all the details from the transportation and admission fees, food and drink. He was very knowledgeable. We got a great perspective of the city as we explored with subway, boats and lots of walking. He let us determine the pace of the tour and we learned so much having a personal guide. We definitely recommend this company and Jareau

Fantastic tour of Rotterdam and Kinderdijk!

We did the Rotterdam + Kinderdijk: All Inclusive, Guided Private Tour this September. Our tour guide Saad was fantastic. He made the tour unique and was a wealth of knowledge about the history of Rotterdam. We enjoyed all of the sites, both big and small and came away with a great appreciation of this resilient City.

We highly recommend the Tour Guys and Saad in particular!

Best Rotterdam Tour

It was so much fun with Monique as our tour guide. She was quite animated and very knowledgeable. She gave us so much information on the history of the places we visited and also shared so many interesting facts about them. Monique was very personable towards us that it felt like we were visiting with a really good friend.
She took many photos of us on our tour, which we really appreciate. She also took us to try local food fares like herring (which we would have never tried on our own), Gouda cheese (we like the young Gouda the best), and puffertjes (mini pancakes, real good size for portion control).
All in all, we were delighted by our tour. And if we were to rate Monique from 1 to 10, we would give her an eleven. ^u^

Bad experience, ee only receive 1/2 of the tour without lunch, refunded only 40% and we doesn’t receive the photos

Bad experience, we only do the first 1/2 of the tour without lunch, when we arrive to the water taxi it was already gone and the next one will be 1 hour late, so the guide cancel the tour. We only receive 40% of money refunded and no photos taken by the guide

We regret to inform you that due to a malfunction, a portion of our database was lost, including your pictures. We acknowledge that the TourGuy should have promptly sent the photos after the tour, and we have addressed this issue with him. He apologizes for the inconvenience caused by the loss of your Kinderdijk photos. However, it is important to note that the TourGuy did capture pictures of you during the Rotterdam city tour. We are disappointed to see that your review suggests otherwise. Additionally, we understand that you expressed dissatisfaction regarding the timing of lunch during the first half of the tour. It is worth mentioning that you declined to have lunch while at the markethall, citing that it was too early. Lastly, the TourGuy cancelled the tour after offering you the choice to either continue with a slight delay due to an early boat departure or reschedule for the following week. Wonderful Tour of Rotterdam!

We had a very nice tour of Rotterdam (City) and then off to Kinderdijk. Our tour guide was Julia and she did an awesome job for us. She knew the history of the City as well and many of the buildings. If she did not know the answer to a question or was not sure, she would get it on her phone in seconds. We enjoyed trying different foods from the area and Julia was very helpful in recommending different things to do and eat. The famous windmills were awesome to visit as well. It was a truly enjoyable day with a very nice young lady as a great guide!

Fantastic Guide!

Izzy was a fantastic guide!
He’s well educated and well versed. He knows the history of the area and explained many interesting details.
He worked the tour around some threatening weather and brought us to one location before the crowds arrived.
Izzy is a Dutchman that speaks English clearly and eloquently. He strives to make the tour as though a friend was showing you around. He succeeded!

Best Tour!

The tour guide was just great! Elmar showed us around Rotterdam sharing interesting stories and insights. He also made a point of not always talking too but allowing us to take things in also! He gave us time to take things in, allowed time for a break, coffee and great food along the way! While it was a big day everything seemed balanced, with walking, stopping, going on a boat which we loved, and finally going to Kinderdijk! We loved the whole day and I would highly recommend this tour and Elmar!!!

Knowledgeable Guide

Very knowledgeable tour guide with an ability to adjust on the go in Rotterdam. Izzy definitely knew the ins and outs of that city and was able to meet the expectations of the tour. The '40-'45 museum was a great experience. Definitely could be an add-on for this tour. Really enjoyed Kinderdijk, though boat ride could have been longer. With Dutch trains breaking down, having a tour guide with intimate knowledge helps in being able to visit all attractions.

Wonderful and memorable experience

We had a really wonderful tour with Izzy. Our original guide called in sick and Izzy took her place at the last moment on a cold and very rainy day. Despite all this he made it a very memorable and special day. He even went out of his way to rent a car to take us to Kinderdijk so we would not get soaked. He also gave us great recommendations for places to have drinks and listen to music.
