Biking around the Dutch countryside was truly a unique experience with Marco. Not only was the scenery itself worth seeing, but our tour was customized for us so that we could do things we wanted to try while there. Specifically, we had read about the Dutch delicacy of eating raw herring and had mention it to Marco. He was able to bring us to a local food stand selling fresh seafood and we were able to try the herring! Actually was pretty tasty! Also, we were able to try fresh cheese and had other delightful experiences along the tour. We did the full day tour. If you have any sort of physical impairment, and I mean ANY, I recommend the half day. My husband and I are generally physically fit and 15 miles on a bike was a challenge for us but well worth it! There’s nothing I felt like we missed on this tour and Marco’s insight into the areas history and connections with the locals made this a top experience for us! So glad we did it!

I travelled to Rotterdam with my husband who was attending a conference. I signed up to do a bike tour on my own while he was busy. I was a little nervous to do a tour solo, however I was immediately put at easy by Marco! He is a great conversationalist and is very talented at offering interesting information about the sights you are seeing as well as letting you have space to absorb and reflect during the experience. It is very obvious he takes great care to assure his guests have an incredible time - mission accomplished for me. He even took the time to offer me photography tips and I got some great shots with his guidance. It was truly a beautiful experience, I learned about Dutch culture and had a great time away from the busy city. Marco has planned every detail - at one point it started to rain quite hard and he pulled out a rain suit for me so we could keep biking! A highlight is the coffee/cake stop about half-way through the tour. Serene and peaceful and the shopkeeper is a delight. Take this tour, you won't be disappointed.

Everything was great and I loved my tour guide Marco. If it weren’t for him I would have not been happy. The communication from viator to other people in the tour wasn’t good which cut my time in kinderdjik short as I would have liked to spend more time there. Marco made sure I still had a good time and it wasn’t for him I would have rated this at 1. Next time please coordinate better with the tourists as we are all visiting here and don’t know the landmarks to meet up at the starting point.

Marco was a very knowledgable, attentive and flexible guide. The day was full of several different interesting and picturesque activities. The flat bike ride through the countryside and past different views of the windmills was beautiful and peaceful. Totally untouristy compared to what we hear and see about windmill town closer to Amsterdam. This one is SO worth the 40 min train from Amsterdam to Rotterdam.
Lots of good photo opps. There were bonuses seeing baby ducks, many pretty birds, grazing cows, sheep and horses. We enjoyed the snack stop at the little tea shop in a mini-windmill-shaped building out in the countryside. Learned a lot from the museum about the need for the canal system and how the windmills work. The canal cruise past tho windmills was relaxing and gave another vantage point. Thank you for a smooth, memorable day!

Hello, we may interested in 4 pple on Saturday 7 July 6, just bike tour. We will be staying in Amsterdam.
Do you offer also picking up people from Amsterdam to take to the bike tour departure point?
How much cost for 4, if so, and
what time would pick up at our Hotel in Amsterdam be on that day? We prefer NOT super early in morn?
Besides above questions:
As another plan, what if we just wanted a private driver to pick us up in Amsterdam and bring us to Café du Klok, where we would have reserved our own bikes? Do you have a referral of a driver or know the cost? Thanks!
