As a new comer to the city and being an expat myself i decided to take a city tour on one Sunday afternoon...
We started off from the centraal station where Ralph greeted me nicely and showed me how to rent the ov bikes. Ralph then took the initiative to brief us the do’s and the dont’s whilst riding in Rotterdam as well as how to hit brakes on the bike! (Believe me its no ordinary bike!)
The trip lasted a couple of hours, as we stroll around this beautiful city with Ralph being very nice with very strong local insights and most importantly super welcoming especially to our questions!
All and all i believe i had learnt so much more from Ralph during the tour, than my entire 7 months of living in this city!
A very super insightful tour! A must try for expats, tourists, students or anyone who wishes to know more and fall in love with rotterdam!

Overall, it was a wonderful bicycle tour that I would recommend to everyone. Ralph is a history enthusiast and a qualified storyteller who can make you relive the stories of the city. I was nervous about cycling in a completely new area, but Ralph made sure everything was alright and kept checking up with me if things were ok. The whole experience felt so personal, as if I was out in a completely new city with a friend who was excited to show me around. Don’t miss out on this experience!

We had the chance to meet each other like a group we made jokes the person who gave us the tour very knowledgable about history and key point spots in Rotterdam!!! Very nice atmosphere with nice jokes not just a tour where you might get bored... interactive and keeps you thirsty for more... I would this again and I suggest it to everyone!!!

I have been to Rotterdam multiple times, though I have never learned about the history. Then I signed up for a cycling tour in Rotterdam with Castori Bikes and I never thought I would learn so much about Rotterdam in one day! Ralph was very lovely and friendly during the tour. He is knowledgeable about the city and I can see that he is very passionate about sharing stories with others. Highly recommended!

Wir haben auf unserer Reise durch die Niederlande auch einen Abstecher nach Rotterdam gemacht und waren nur einige Stunden hier. Dank unseres gut informierten Guides haben wir einen lebendigen Eindruck von der Stadt bekommen. Dabei haben wir viele Highlights der Stadt gesehen, die von unserem Guide mit vielen Informationen über historische Gebäude und zeitgenössische Architektur erklärt wurden. Die Buchung lief unkompliziert, ebenso das Treffen am vereinbarten Ort. Wir sind etwas mehr als 3 Stunden durch die Stadt geradelt, während wir immer wieder mal angehalten haben, um etwas Neues zu erfahren. Der Guide ist auf alle unsere Fragen eingegangen. Nach etwa 1,5 Stunden gab es eine kleine Pause von 20 Min. an einem zentralen Platz, von wo aus wir selbständig unterwegs waren. Es ist eine "verrückte" und moderne Stadt, wir können die Tour sehr empfehlen!!!

Ich hatte noch nie von dem Fahrradtunnel unter der Maas gehört, den man mit einer Holzrolltreppe erreicht. Obwohl eine Tunnelfahrt nicht eingeplant war, sind wir spontan einmal hin- und hergefahren. Vielen Dank dafür!

Den Tunnelfahrt hat mich auch spaß gemacht und gut das ihr das so untereinander so abgemacht habt! Immer offen für Abweichungen vom Plan wenn es die anderen auch ok finden!

I took Castori cycling tours in Rotterdam to get to know the city a bit better. The guide arrange the rental bikes for you, something very handy when you are visiting the city and don't have much time to rent the bikes by yourself. Our guide was Ralph, very friendly and professional guy who took us to the most important parts of the city. He was very well inform about the history of the city and other anecdotic details about the places we were visiting. In general was a great and fun experience and I would totally recommend it to everyone who wants to know more about rotterdam!
