I visited Antwerp and Ghent today and thoroughly enjoyed it.. Mark was a fantastic guide.. very knowledgable and funny. Ghent is easily the best city in Belgium that I’ve visited and I highly recommend going with this company

Marc was amazing! One of the best tours we took. He was funny and a great storyteller. Highly recommend. Only thing we did not like is that we shared a bus with the Spanish speaking tour so when we were on the bus, the Spanish tour guide pointed thing out to his group and then Marc spoke in English but they each spoke for 5-10 minutes so they were showing us different things. It felt like we missed half of the bus tour and so did the Spanish group. At the stops we split into 2 groups so it was not an issue in the cities. Marc made it well worth booking!

O guia tem um extenso conhecimento da história das duas cidades e é muito fluente em inglês. No entanto, falou muito rápido e por vezes perto de sítios onde havia ruído, o que dificultou a audição das suas explicações. Foi extremamente profissional e agradeço ter-me ensinado tanto sobre aquelas duas cidades.

Great way to see the highlights of Antwerp and Ghent. Sergio was our guide. He is a human history encyclopedia!!! Lots of information and history. You are guided through some significant stops and then you have some free time to explore on your own or delve deeper into spots visited. Bus is comfortable with wifi. I would definitely recommend this trip.

Mark is our tour guide. He is fantastic. He really bring the history of the city into life. He is a researcher. He provided much deeper historical context than the usual run-of-the-mill tour information. And his knowledge is quite broad, any question I raised he had the answer, not necessary something directly related to the tour or the sights we saw.
The tour itinerary is quite good. But given that we are hitting 2 cities, there might not be enough free time if you want to go see some museums for your own interest.
There about 1hr45min free time at Antwerp, barely enough for a sit down lunch. The walking tour ends at the old town church. We want to see the central station, which is 20min walking away. So we took Mark's advise to just have some snacks from stands or shops along the way.
We left for Ghent at 1:45pm. Supposed to arrive at 2:50pm, but due to traffic, only arrived at 3:10pm. The walking tour ends at the Castle at 4:30pm, which is 10 min walking away from the Saint Bavo’s Cathedral. So I missed the 4:30pm last entry to see the famous Ghent Altarpiece. Had we not have that 20min traffic delay, it would be perfect timing.
So we have the 1hr free time to have some food and wonder around on shops and churches.

I had a tour with Mark B and he was delightful. Very interesting, lots of historical information and good stories. He was friendly and very knowledgable. I really enjoyed the tour and I learned a lot!

The tour was good, and the tour guide seems know the answers. Because of raining n windy we didn’t enjoy it too much. But I know the tour guide did their best.

This tour is very well done and thoughtfully planned. Our group was split in two with one guide speaking Spanish and the other speaking English. Bruno was our English speaking guide and he really knows is stuff. He pointed out many small details and sights we would have overlooked on a self tour. There are ample breaks to eat, wander, shop but not too much as you are looking to fill time. The bus lets you out by a large ferris wheel in Antwerp and we decided to ride it. It gave a great view of the city and the river. You won't regret this 8 min ride. We had a wonderful day on this tour and I definitely recommend it.

You will see more on this trip in one day than you could see by yourself. I only had one day and was travelling alone, so I am glad I did this. I only wish our guide spoke better English. A higher level of English proficiency would have made the tour better. In addition, she spoke too fast and walked too fast. At one point, I was accidently separated from the group but luckily found my way back. If you go, wear your most comfortable walking shoes. You will see a lot and walk a lot. Be sure to try the "Ghent noses" candy, also called Cuberdons--a Ghent speciality! Two really interesting cities.

Passionate and funny guide that knows a lot about the history of the towns. He also gave us good advice about local specialities that we can try and eat.
