Our guide was very informative and engaging! We saw and learned so much about the island. It was a great way to spend our only day in town.

Jay was our tour guide and he was fabulous! I’ve been coming to Galveston for 40 years and love the history of the place, but I learned so much that I never knew! I am 51 and have a knee that has had 4 surgeries. Just make sure to keep a little bend in them over the bumps and you should be good. I was concerned about my knee and being able to balance, but Jay gave great instructions and I did just fine. My 12 year old and her friend actually found the history a little interesting, and definitely enjoyed the Segway. I’ll definitely go back.

The pre-tour instructions on the operation of the Segway was adequate. The tour was excellent and we enjoyed learning the history of Galveston. Our tour guide took use all around the historical part of the city before venturing out to the more modern Seawall area. Great stories of the 1900 hurricane plus the old monster days along with the Rat Pack stories made it interesting. Good fun tour.

This was an excellent way to learn Galveston's history as well as to learn to ride a Segway, which was really COOL!! Thanks to Dee, who was our guide and bent over backwards to make sure safety was her first priority. She was an excellent Segway instructor, plus her history of Galveston was impressive! This was our first time driving/riding Segways and appreciate her patience, which was in abundance!
Dee had us make various stops along the tour to rest our feet from the Segway drive and so we could take pictures. I strongly recommend the "Segway Galveston Magical History Tour" to anyone who is interested in a Galveston adventure.

Our guide, Asa, was so informative and made the entire tour fun and educational. My mother was BOI and I grew up visiting my grandparents in Galveston. I have heard many stories of the Island as my ancestors were there during the 1900 Storm; however, there was much I had no idea about. The tour was informative regarding history and was fun visiting many of the tree carvings in light of Hurricane Ike. My husband and daughter were both born and raised in Oregon, so it was fun for all of us learning new things about Galveston. I think we would all 3 agree that it is worth doing!

We had a great time and our tour guide, Asa, was very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. My husband and I were the only ones on the tour so it was very relaxing and easy going.

The Magical Tour was great for getting oriented to Galveston as this was our first time visiting. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave helpful advice for the rest of our stay. This was our first time riding the Segway as well, but had no trouble after the training (neither did anyone else in our party).

We did this tour and could not have been more impressed. The knowledge of our guide both on the history of Galveston and the route was amazing
We enjoyed every aspect of this tour and felt relaxed throughout. If you want to see Galveston in a relaxing way with both history and what to do and where to eat I highly suggest this Segway tour. See you again next time we are in Galveston.

OK, first thing’s first, the Segway is a thoroughly ridiculous form of transport! 🤣
It is however a lot of fun although it does take a few minutes getting used to it trying to balance you while you’re trying to balance it. Once your brain has figured it out, they’re pretty easy to get around on, as I say it only takes a few minutes and the guide will help you get acclimated to the thing.
The tour was wonderful. Knowledgeable guide around this seaside town which has so much history.
Would heartily recommend, especially if you’ve never been on a Segway before!
