I booked this tour. Meet me at 8:20 at my Inn. The coach did not even wait for us 2 minutes it left at 8h21 from the Pension!!! I did not go to the excursion late by 1 minute! Scammers who won't even pay me back!!!

Get a taxi don’t waste your money this company is a joke 3 hour journey and we didn’t arrive until 4 am 3 kids in tow pay extras save half your holiday

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!

I booked this tour for June 2nd and was provided with a 7:15am pick up time. I arrived to the pickup location at 7:02 am. I waited for over one hour and contacted the "tour" company several times via email. No response. No show.
Ultimately I reached them via what's app and was informed that the driver was there and left.
I sent the attached GPS location and requested that they reschedule or provide me with a refund as I was at the pickup location early. They did not try to resolve this issue they created or provide a refund.
Do not book a tour with this company. You will make better use of your time and money watching paint dry.
They are in the business of ripping people off, are unprofessional and very poor communicators. Fraudsters.

Ruined by TWO HOUR PICKUP at start

The whole day tour (almost 10 hours) started with our pickup at the roundabout in front of our hotel at 07.10. The tour cost 38 euros. It did not start well with pickups at two or three locations, one with a 30 minute stop, and a delay lasting over TWO HOURS. The driver made some comment about waiting for feeder coaches/minibuses. Our lady guide was a brilliant linguist giving informative commentary in English, French, German and Portuguese. However, when we got off the coach to tour Silves, with steep climbs up to the castle and cathedral the guide went off at "route march pace". We are in our late seventies and my wife is disabled, but regrettably thatn fact was ignored. My wife stayed in a cafe at the base of the cobbled slope and I did get up to the cathedral/castle at a rather slower pace. We were allowed about 1 hour there. It was dry, but if it had been wet then the slope to the cathedral/castle could be very slippery.
We then proceeded to the Foia at Monchique...the highest point on the Algarve. It is a pleasant spot with a good shop and views of the coast through a heat haze.
After this we were taken to Restaurant Teresinha,Monchique (see separate review) for a 14 euro lunch.
We then went to Cabo de Sao Vincente. A sea mist/low cloud enveloped the Cape from time to time. Charge for the toilets here is 0.70 euros pp, and although we were told that this was refunded if you gave your receipt in to the shop with purchases this did not occur. We were allowed only 30 minutes here.
Our next stop was Lagos.....which we knew since we were in a hotel near here. We were given a long time here...which for us was unnecessary.
We returned to our hotel at 18.00 hours
Our driver was competent, but with little communication.
A useful tour of the Western Algarve completely spoiled by that ridiculous waste of over 2 hours at the start.

A whirlwind in the west

This is low season in the Algarve so the bus picked up guests from a huge catchment area so the downside was an hour of driving around each end of the day. Some of that time would have been better spent at Silves, for example, where the visit was very rushed. I didn’t’t find the trip to Monchique very rewarding because a hazy view was the only attraction. I would have preferred time in Sagres, which is not part of this tour. Great tour guide.

Fantastic way to see the West Algarve.

To see all that the Algarve has to offer, you need to take an organized tour. It takes the stress out of getting from one place to another. This was a fantastic day, and we were able to see so much. The tour started in Silves, where there was ample free time to wander around the city and stop for a coffee and a pastel de nata. There was a free liquor tasting at the second stop at Mount Foiá. The tour guide arranged for us to all have a nice local lunch after Foiá (which was a very reasonable cost). Cape st. Vincent and Lagos were beautiful stops! It was a fairly large group and we traveled on a bus, but the tour guide's commentary was very knowledgeable and helpful. At each stop there was free time to explore, which was very nice to get some souvenirs and photos. If you want to see the Algarve hassle free and have a bit of historical background, this trip is for you!
