Brilliant couple of hours on segways for my son and me, guided by Nelson. He took the tour at a pace to suit a cautious mum with some challenges for an adventurous teenager. Lots of fascinating insights into local life and the tourism business. Thoroughly recommended. If you do one outing while you are in the Algarve, make it this. Vilamoura was our fourth tour with “Algarve by Segway” (but first with Nelson himself). We have a set of wonderful photos he took for us (so no worries about juggling a phone with the segway). The pasteis de nata were heavenly.

Andre was great from initial enquiry via Whats App to delivering our tour. As a family of 2 adults, 11 yr of, and 15 yr old the Vilamoura tour was just right for us. Having all been on a Segway before it definitely helped as we could just get on and head off with no training. Don’t be afraid to try this! Segways are very intuitive and you will pick it up very quickly. We cannot wait to come back and possibly try another one of the tours the next time.

Excellent tour of Quateria and Vilamoura especially on the segway. Andre was an excellent guide and instructor on how to use the segway. Thank you .We had a great experience and itcwas our first time on a segway. I would highly recommend this tour to all visiting Portugal. Excellent value.

My 15 year old daughter and myself booked a tour. It was our first time on a Segway and they were really easy to get the hang of. Great little experience and Andreas our guide kept us on the right track all the way. He was also very informative of the area. Highly recommended.

There's nothing like the wind in your face as you glide down the sidewalk on a segway! This tour was definitely the highlight of our trip so far. Nelson made everything easy from beginning to end- we knew exactly where to park, got a quick crash course on riding a segway, and then we were off! There was a perfect balance between enjoying the sights on the segway and stopping to hear about some local history. We saw vast beaches, an ecclectic fish market, and Nelson even stopped to get us some fresh out of the oven nata.
The entire family left with huge smiles on their faces and now we all want to buy segways!

We really enjoyed our tour from Andre. We booked rather last minute, but that wasn't a problem. The explanation of how to use the Segways was good and Andre helped the less coordinated amongst us, to feel safe. There was no rush and we were able to make frequent stops to enjoy the scenery and stories that were shared. We would definitely book another Segway tour with Algarve by Segway during a future trip to this beautiful place.
