João and his tuk tuk took us all round Faro old and new, he is a really interesting guide and told us many stories about the history of Faro. Highly recommended!

Joao was very knowledgeable and a great host. Very welcoming.
We travelled around and enjoyed the whole of the city.
A highlight was stopping at Bell Tower to enjoy the stunning view over Faro, the hills and Nature Reserve.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience on our tuk-tuk tour of Faro! From start to finish, it was a perfect blend of history, culture, and fun. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating stories and insights about the city’s rich past. He was also friendly and made the tour feel personal and engaging.
The route took us through some of Faro’s most iconic historic sites, giving us a deeper appreciation for its charm and significance. The tuk-tuk itself was a comfortable and enjoyable way to explore the city, allowing us to cover more ground while still getting up close to its hidden gems.
If you’re visiting Faro, this tour is a must! Whether you're a history buff or just looking for a unique way to see the city, you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommended

Our private tour with Joao was outstanding. He shared so much of the history of the region and was willing to answer any questions we had about both historic and modern Faro and the Algarve. Well worth the time and price.

João was a great tour guide, very informative and friendly. An alternative way to see the city including a stop at a chapel with amazing views of the city.

A nice ride in the ideal means of transport for exploring the city. The driver / guide is a very friendly young man who tells you about the history of Faro with a lot of knowledge. Along the way you get off a few times for more information and he will take you to the highest point of the city for a beautiful view. You can also visit the famous church with bones and skulls at your leisure along the way. A bottle of fresh water is also provided. The guide does not work for a tourist company but is a small self-employed person. I'd say support him so he can keep moving forward. Recommended. - - -

An immersion in the Algarve and more particularly Faro thanks to our passionate and exciting guide Jao who loves his city and his country and answered many questions about his country as well. In addition, he speaks French very well and is pleasant to enjoy the different sites in a tuk tuk.

Really a pleasant time and a great meeting. Joao knows his subject and shares his passion for history with us. A tuk tuk ride was a first for us which our guide made us appreciate. We also recommend we had the impression of being guided by Pierre Niney...

We went out with Joao this morning.
It must be said that he is keen on the history of the city and knows his subject.
He has humor, a very good level of French and we highly recommend visiting him.
The tuktuk is maintained, not super comfortable but so quirky, we loved it!
Don’t hesitate to ask him to stop and take photos or for him to take photos of you.
Go there with your eyes closed…
