Spot Tourism were excellent in organizing several activities for us. They suggest a 4 day schedule that provided excellent tours and transportation. Our guide Rui was knowledgeable and generous with his time. We would highly recommend any of their tour options!

We were only going to spend one day on this island so we thought a private tour was the way to go. They tailored it to our needs and suggested a spectacular rare place for us to go and even suggested a wonderful restaurant for lunch in town. My husband wanted to see lava caves and she suggested going to Algar do Carvao which is one of only two intact volcano cones/vents in the world and it did not disappoint! Highly recommend it, and taking this tour. She showed us a lot of the history and beauty of the island.

The tour was great. Our guide Pedro was fantastic, very knowledgable and passionate about sharing his island. He tailored the tour for us, as we had already visited some of the sites. It’s a beautiful island and we leave knowing more about its rich culture and history. We would definitely recommend, thanks Pedro!

I'm so happy I booked this tour. My family of 4 was only on the island for 24 hours and our guide was able to tailor our private tour accordingly. She picked up us at our hotel at 9am, put all of our luggage in her car, and dropped us off at the airport at 3pm. She was very knowledgeable about Terceira and the Azores. We learned and saw so much. I completely recommend this tour!

After reading the reviews here I booked a day trip with Spot Tourism Activities and wasn't disappointed! The pick up and drop off times were tailored to the flight times, and Nuno proved to be a great guide. He suggested the itinerary suitable to our abilities (we travelled as family group, aged between 6 and 60s) so all could enjoy the sights and attractions of Terceira. Very knowledgeable and just genuinely nice person. Nuno went above and beyond helping us on other issues that arose, for which we will be forever grateful.

We booked the full day tour of the island a couple of days before. We were picked up from our holiday house in the North of the island at 9.30am and travelled in a van. Lots of space for the 4 of is which was great. The tour guide (a local who spoke very good English) was great. We discussed the itinerary before setting off to make sure it included what we wanted to see. Lots of stops and the guide was happy to answer all our questions.
Would definitely recommend as a great way to see a lot of the island in a day.

The best way to get a good bearing of the island and local knowledge was priceless for the rest of the stay. Ana started by asking us if there was any location in particular that we wanted to see, where we had already been and how long we were here, then proceeded to zoom all over the place, showing and explaining everything along the way. She stopped thoughtfully every time there was a photo opp and even ensured the children enjoyed themselves. It was so great to take a day off and be escorted by her, and we appreciated all the knowledge that she had of the island that we used for the rest of our stay.

This tour was amazing! It was recommended to me by a friend, and it was worth every penny!
The tour guide is very knowledgeable, and let us set the pace. He started the tour by explaining the history of Angra de Heroismo and Praia da Vittoria. Then, he took us to volcanic caves, including Algar de Cavao, where he explained past volcanic events and what we were seeing. He also took us on a short hike at an active volcano.
The tour was amazing!

Excelente tour privado en la isla Terceira con Joao Coelho. Hicimos un ruta por Rocha do Chambre y visitamos los principales puntos turísticos de la isla. Fue muy agradable y divertido.

My parents and I spent a marvelous day in February
2020 touring Terceira Island with one of the most informative, outgoing and welcoming tour guide I have ever encountered VitorAguiar(vaguiargeral@gmail.com).
He provide an extensive tour around the island and ensured that all the locations we visited and activities did were geared to our needs. The tour started when he picked us up at our hotel and ended in the evening when he dropped us off at the hotel.
Duuring the tour he went above and beyond our expectations. He even brought us to his house where he and his wife introduced us to the local porto wine. After we expressed an interest in buying some wine he drove us to a supermarket where we stocked up on some wonderful wine at an inexpensive price. To this day my father enjoy Portuguese wine with his meals .
Vitor's private tour around the island was a really enjoyable welcome to Terciera. It is definitely value for the price.

I believe they usually start in Angra do Heriosmo. We paid actually for them to pick us up at the airport which is on the other side of the island because we only flew over from Sao Miguel for the day.
