Personalized Tour!
Bernardo, our guide is a graduate student of History at Coimbra University. Who could be a better tour guide! He was flexible taking questions. He covered all the kings and non-kings and somehow I was able to follow it all due to his interesting stories. He keep us moving to get the maximum amount of time possible in the major areas. At the end I was in awe of the library but also the history of Portugal as a country.

Excellent tour and guide!
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Coimbra University! As a master’s student at the university, our guide was very knowledgeable and well spoken. He was an excellent guide, teaching us about the historical elements and also about some of the culture and traditions of the school. We were astounded with the setting, especially the library! We would highly recommend this tour and this guide.

Très belle visite! L’anglais n’est pas notre langue maternelle et c’était très clair par notre guide Bernardo. Ce fût très agréable et intéressant. Avions suffisamment de temps pour prendre des photos.

History and more
Our guide was so knowledgeable. He presented the Portuguese history, symbolism of several buildings at the university and was quite personable.

I usually don't do guided tours but this one has changed my mind. Excellent experience.

Great guide. Very knowledgeable.
Our guide, Bernado, was wonderful. Very knowledgeable, pleasant and accommodating. If I had one complainer. It is that the meeting place Isa unclear if one O’s not familiar with the University. The General library is not really marked as such and the people who worked there kept trying to direct us to the big University library that we were going to tour to meet up.

Also, we thought our ticket included entrance to the science museum, as others’ tickets did, but it did not. And we did not know we could have gotten a tickets for extended tour, as some did in our group.
