J’ai réservé cette activité bien à l’avance après consultation des avis élogieux de Tripadvisor alors je me dis que nous avons joué de malchance… 48h avant le rdv, j’envoie un mail pour confirmation du point de rdv. Pas de réponse. Idem 36h avant. 24h avant nous passons à pied au lieu théorique du rdv et ne voyons rien. J’essaye d’appeler au numéro indiqué dans la réservation. Ça sonne dans le vide. Je contacte l’assistance Viator. Je passe 1h en ligne avec eux. Ils me confirment que l’excursion aura lieu. Dans la soirée je reçois sms m’indiquant que le guide prévu s’est blessé et qu’il faudrait décaler l’heure de notre rdv ;impossible puisque nous avons prévu autre chose . Encore beaucoup de messages échangés pour finalement décider d’annuler l’activité puisque aucun arrangement n’a pu être trouvé. Il a fallu que nous trouvions une autre société de Tuktuk au dernier moment. En bref plusieurs heures perdues pour ne pas faire le tour avec eux.

Dear Sir/Madam,
Thank you for your feedback. In fact, there was an incident and as a result, all reservations for the day had to be adjusted and we even offered a guide in French. You did not show availability for changes, so unfortunately there was a need to cancel with full refund. We regret the situation but several options were offered without success.

We booked through our hotel because we couldn't decide between all the operators out there. We wanted 4 hours and to go through a variety of neighborhoods and the old town. Bruno did a GREAT tour, tell us what we were seeing, the history, some local info. Gave us time to go inside churches, etc, and told us when we should take our time, take a quick look, or try to come back for a longer visit. This is truly the best way to go around the city, and you can get to ALL the spots in a short time frame if you won't be in town long. We always felt safe (and there were required seat belts) and feel like Bruno found us some interesting and beautiful locations that we surely would have missed otherwise.

We were a family of 9 person, two elderly people ( my parents), 3 adults, 3 teenagers and a 9 years old kid.
Lisbon is a city built on 7 hills, it is a very difficult city to travel by foot.
We used 2 Tuk Tuk since each Tuk Tuk can carry not more than 6 person.
Frank, our guide was fluent both in English and Spanish (was very helpful with my parents), Frank had a very deep knowledge of Portuguese history, and new very corner in Lisbon, he alway had an anecdote regarding a place we passed by, and he always found things that were close to us in order to relate the city to us.
I highly recommend him for your Lisbon TuTuk ride.

Terrible service. The tour guide named Rita was very rude and the agency charged us more than what was previously agreed upon. I don't recommend it to anyone! Disappointed!

Tejo Tuk Tuk tour was an ugly wart in our otherwise wonderful Portugal holiday.
First, they sent us a non-Portuguese guide who knew nothing outside of his memorized script, which he recited like a recording. (Note, we had two non-Portuguese guides for other tours and they were awesome.)
It’s an understatement to say his driving was poor. He came close to hitting several pedestrians. At the very first stop he parked at and we got out, a policeman yelled at him that that is not a parking spot. He then tried to pull into another spot that was too small, and after several other drivers’ “cuidado, cuidado, cuidado!” shouts, he crashed into another parked Tuk Tuk.
That’s not the worst part. I WhatsApp’d the manager Bruno that my family felt extremely unsafe with this guide. Looking at my chat log, he responded 36 minutes later with “all our guides have long training” and they sent a replacement driver. He refused to talk to us and when my wife spoke to Bruno using the new guide’s phone, he told my wife that “it’s your husband’s fault”. All we were asking for was to make up for the gap in tour with the new guide.
There’s much more to say about this rude, inept company but 2 weeks later we have yet to see the refund of our 200 Euros.
Bottom line: There are lots of tuk tuk tour choices; it's just not worth the risk (safety and monetary) with these crooks.

Lisbon is wonderful, but filled with steep hills with uneven paving. The Tuk Tuk is a great way to see a lot in a short time. We paid extra to be picked up where we were staying and to limit the tour to our family members (3). It was well worth it. Our guide John was cheerful and accommodating.

Wonderful tour by our driver Mariana Figueiredo. She is very knowledgeable about the history of Portugal and Lisbon. But best of all at the end of the tour she sang for us a fado song playing the guitar, We had no idea how fine a singer she was. People stopped on the street to listen and applauded when she finished.
The tuk tuk ride is far superior to tour buses. And if you do this ask for Mariana. You won’t be disappointed.

Arriving on a day with two huge cruise ships in port, we decided to take a tuk tuk tour and are so very glad we did. As a family of three we were lucky to get the amazing Frank as a driver who was astute, knowledgeable and amazing at matching our tuk tuk tour to what we wanted.
He asked what we were interested in, how much talk time we wanted and gave us the most phenomenal experience. Lisbon is incredibly hilly and on a day with around 10,000 additional visitors in the city, tuk tuk was defintely the way forward. We nipped in and out of the most gorgeous views in the city and a we were in Lisbon for two days, we felt me knew the geography of the city so well we could go it alone on our second day.
From learning how to spot Renaldo's penthouse rooftop garden, to tasting cherry liquor in chocolate cups, all expertly managed by Frank. We learnt fascinating history and all linked to each building or view we encountered. Although we got tons of great experiences with lots of history and politics thrown in, I've got a feeling that Frank would have given any family exactly the trip they wanted, which is what made the trip so special.
To round off the trip we went for cheese and port which has to be the perfect end to a fabulous trip. The tuk tuk was modern, comfortable and surprisingly kind even over some mighty cobbles and tramlines. Huge congratulations to Frank if he gets to read this; you made our fortnight's holiday by giving us one of the best tours we've had in over thirty years of world travel and many cruises.

Was charged 30 euro for VAT that was not included in the quote and brochure never mentioned it was in addition to prices quoted.
Driver was an extremely nice person but only provided bare minimum of information at each stop.
Tuk tuk was clean and comfortable.
Very disappointed for the amount of information received and the surprise charge of the extra 30 euro. Be aware of the extra charges. Of all the tours we took we felt this had the Least value.

This was the best thing we did in Lisbon, worth every penny! Lisbon is a city of hills and all those steep hills make it somewhat tedious to navigate on foot, especially when you have a family in tow. Even riding the tuk-tuk felt like a fun adventure.
We had booked the longest tour they offer (2,5 hours) and it was still not long enough to see everything. We could have continued much longer.
Mars was the best guide, friendly and entertaining, he gave us plenty of time to step out, visit inside churches and gave us a short walking tour in Alfama.
We loved the beautiful miradouros and the small streets. We never could have seen as much on our own or with one of those big bus tours.

They have seatbelts but they are not meant for 2 year olds. They don’t go super fast though and you could have your 2 year old sit in the middle between 2 adults.
