I suggest you contact the tour company directly and ask them. Our guide was Bruno, and he customized our tour beautifully. BUT we were there in February, when there are far fewer tourists. Send them an email and see what they can do for you.

You can ask your guide. Ours drive a van- I don’t see why you couldn’t leave your bags in it.

Hi, Babzrn. If you book with the same company we did, they are very accommodating. We were able to personalise our trip to include lunch at one specific restaurant and the lunch lasted far longer than it should have. Yes, this meant the tour left out things that other people get to do, but we didn't care. We were able to do what we wanted, and the driver (Bruno) was so friendly and helpful. He knew what mattered most to us and made sure we got to do that. One thing to remember: you are travelling at peak season, so it might be more challenging for them to change your itinerary than our February trip was. You may need to take a totally private tour. Send them an email to see what they can do for you. Hope it works out for you. This was the best thing about our entire vacation, and it was entirely due to Bruno and his help to change the itinerary for us. Good luck to you!
