The trip was booked well in advance as an English language tour over seven hours. We were assigned to an 8 passenger van with 3 Spanish speaking passengers and 5 English speaking passengers. While the tour guide spoke both languages, he spoke for much of the trip in Spanish focusing on his conversation with a bilingual passenger sitting in the front seat. While billed as 7 hours, the guide noted from the outset that it would be 9 to 10 hours. This was a problem for us. The visits to Fatima and Obidos were very good. Lunch in Nazare was awful. The guide recommended two restaurants. The first was full. The second was closed. We were on our own and pressed for time. Not recommended.

We had the absolutely perfect day trip out of Lisbon with Carolina! She was not only a genuine and lovely person, but a top tier, knowledgeable guide, AND one of the best drivers you will ever experience!
We had been in Lisbon for a week and were ready for a new experience, which we certainly got! We visited 3 distinctly different towns ...Fátima was a pilgrimage site - interesting but we chose to spend a brief time here so we could have more time in Óbidos. The second village was Nazaré- a fabulous coastal town best known for biggest surfer waves in the world. We had a delicious seafood lunch with a spectacular ocean view here, that Carolina had arranged for us. Our last stop was the medieval village of Obidos, very much as it was hundreds of years ago - one of my favourite experiences of my whole Portugal trip.
I highly recommend doing this day trip with Lisbon Riders. They are a very professional , organized company, who communicate promptly. We were a group of 7 so greatly appreciated the option of a private tour with pick up at our Airbnb, in a spacious air conditioned van. They book up quickly so don't hesitate to reserve your spot now!

Carolina made of visit to Fatima, Nazaré and Óbidos very enjoyable. She is extremely knowledgeable and loves sharing stories about Portugal. She is also very caring and accommodating of your needs Would be happy to have her as our guide on future excursions

A really interesting and well balanced day trip: history, culture, beautiful scenery, good food. Our Guide Liliana was great and she was able to entertain us by telling us about various aspects of Portugal along the way.

This is a great day trip packing in a lot of sites in a short amount of time. Diogo was a fantastic guide and did a great job making sure we were all comfortable and engaged. I (and someone else on the tour) could've sworn it listed an additional site and was confused why we weren't stopping there. Diogo didn't hesitate to make it right and fit a stop in there for us, and I really appreciate the extra effort. If I had one critique it's the first stop at the gift shop in Fatima. Feels unnecessary and too long, would rather spend more time elsewhere than a store that sells mostly religious stuff. But otherwise can't recommend this tour enough. You see so much.

It was the highlight of our stay in Lisbon. The pace of the tour was perfect for myself and my 78 year old mom who isn’t able to typically keep up in crowds. The three stops were unique and deeply rooted in historical significance. Our tour guide Carolina was an absolute gem. She was so informative and honestly gave us a magical experience.

Diogo was such a fun, friendly and knowledgeable guide. We learned so much about the sites we were visiting, but also interesting details about Lisbon and Portugal in general. The van was comfortable with good a/c and the recommended restaurants were delicious. We got to meet our fresh fish before it arrived for lunch. 😃

I’m staying in cascais. What is the best option to get on this tour? Do we get to Lisbon on our own? By train, bus, or will you pick up, or we meet in other location ? Thank you

good day. My name is Don and I'm retired from Delta Airlines. We have a group of 5 adults. We are coming in on a cruise (Anthem OTS) Aug 23 and 24th and would like something with 10 or 12 in group. We speak English.
Our group really wants to see Fatima and do some side trips to your other high lite locations.
We are somewhat restricted mobility wise-- not walkers or canes but are in our 70/early 80's so need to take care.
The ship comes in 10am the 24 Jan and leaves 25th Jan 2022 at 1159PM.
Can you offer some options for us? maybe 1 full day and possible half day? Pick up close to ship-- not a bus or cab ride away.

The company only picks up in one or two locations, I believe. Back in Lisbon around 6pm. I think there is a half day tour that just goes to Fatima.

You will get to see the beach but depending on what time of year you went, you may not see the big waves. I think the big waves season is during winter time.
