Nous avons réservé avec enthousiasme une visite guidée via cette plateforme, mais malheureusement, notre expérience s’est révélée être un véritable désastre. Le guide qui était censé nous accompagner ne s’est jamais présenté, nous laissant perplexes et frustrés.
Après avoir attendu patiemment pendant deux heures, notre attente n’a été récompensée par rien d’autre que la déception. Nous étions vraiment impatients de découvrir les attractions locales et d’en apprendre davantage sur l’histoire de la région, mais tout cela est resté un rêve inachevé en raison de l’absence du guide.

Dear Christian,
Unfortunately your activity was canceled due to the ocean conditions. There weren´t conditions to provide enough visibility for a great snorkeling experience.
Since the 14th of August I´ve been trying to contact you by Whatsapp, Phone message and email asking for the weight, height and feet measurements of the participants to adequate the wetsuits and also to advice for another possible date since the activity had to be canceled due the ocean conditions.
Unfortunately we never got any answer from you until today by 8h in the morning.
Sad it had to be this way but we tryed everything to communicate with you.
Have a great trip and enjoy Portugal

We had a private tour for a group of 10 for snorkeling. The trip included sightseeing, transportation from our location, snorkeling and underwater photos. Their communication was excellent before and during the experience. They contacted us 2 days earlier to make sure of our sizes and pickup location were correct.
The guides were very friendly and explained very thorougly about the Portuguese nature. They answered our questions really well and the level of English was really good. Wetsuits and other snorkeling equipment was provided by them, which worked good. Maybe a couple of masks were a bit foggy (even though they had been treated with antifog substance).
The snorkeling surroundings were phenomenal. The beach wasn't crowded and the water was clear. The journey to the beach from parking space was quite rocky but it didn't bother at all when we arrived to the beach.
All in all I would highly recommend this experience. If you make a booking from GetStoked, I would recommend asking for recommendations and talking with the guides actively, so you get most out of your experience.

The guides were very friendly and explained very thorougly about the Portuguese nature. They answered our questions really well and the level of English was really good. Wetsuits and other snorkeling equipment was provided by them, which worked good. Maybe a couple of masks were a bit foggy (even though they had been treated with antifog substance).

All in all I would highly recommend this experience. If you make a booking from GetStoked, I would recommend asking for recommendations and talking with the guides actively, so you get most out of your experience.

I saw two octopus and a sea urchin! Fabulous day trip from Lisbon. Be prepared. Even worth the wetsuit the water is cold. But worth it!

Une superbe expérience que je conseille de réaliser ! Malgré des conditions climatiques pas top, Nuno, notre guide, a été très sympathique avec nous, nous permettant de réaliser cette activité dans de très bonnes conditions ! La randonnée dans la réserve de l’Arrabida, puis la plongée, étaient géniales. Un grand merci encore à Nuno !

Nuno was a brilliant guide, very friendly and full of stories about Portugal! This snorkeling experience would be fantastic for beginners or nervous swimmers as you walk from the beach into waist deep water and you are able to see a variety of animals - we saw 3 octopuses! Arrabida is stunning, the beach we went to was very pretty. Water was freezing so I didn’t stay in as long as I could have, but a lovely experience regardless.

This experience was one of the best things I’ve ever done! It was straight up amazing. We got picked up and taken to the beach, which was beautiful and almost empty. Everything went in a good pace and he took the time to make sure that we felt safe and good in the water and with all the equipment. When we started snorkeling we saw a whole other world under the sea filled with fish and other sea life. The water was so nice, warm and clear for us to enjoy! After the snorkeling we stayed at the beach a little bit to enjoy the sun and the amazing views. We got taught about Portugal and it’s people and way of life and we were having great conversations about the world. We drove home again to Lisbon after a few hours and on the way back we got some fantastic recommendations for the rest of our trip. Thank you so much to Filipe for the amazing experience 🌞

Our guide was Filipe - very competent, nice guy with a lot of interesting stories and insights. It was a real pleasure - Filipe picked us up at our hotel in Sesimbra and brought us back than, so we had nothing to worry about. He also had all the equipement for us (wet suit, snorkelling masks etc.) and provided us with very useful introduction into snorkelling. We were about 1,5 hours in water - watching the underwater world. Filipe was all the time with us - assisting and filming us.

it was my first experience, it overcame my expectations. Philip, he's an incredible, very thoughtful person, very helpful, he has a very good energy, and it's been a pleasure enjoying the beauty of Arrabida National Park with this extraordinary company.

Filipe was a great guide, picked me up on time and was lovely to chat to on the way to the national park. He had a lot of cool info and travel tips and was super chatty and friendly. Everything is provided for (wetsuit, snorkelling equipment etc) and once you get in the water he's very good at teaching the basics if you're a first timer. The location is lovely, and you get to see plenty of sea life including colorful fish, sea urchins, mussels, and all sorts else. The walk down is a bit steep, so it's definitely an activity for someone who's physically active, but other than that, I couldn't recommend more!

He told us that the water in September was hotter than the water in July and August. But it was colder than average (about 18 degrees I think). So in October, it will be the same temperature or a bit colder. I can't say it for sure.
