Our guide shared many great stories about historical people and places in Lisbon's history. Our most energetic, enthusiastic, congenial and sensible guide helped us to learn much about events important to the downtown area of Lisbon.

The guide was excellent. Not only was he knowledgeable, but he was fun and down to earth. Incredible historical knowledge, and willing to share both negative and positive parts of Portuguese history.

Very informative walking tour. We covered 5 miles in 3 hours. Guide was very knowledgeable . We even stopped for a free shot of Ginya, a cherry liquor.

Pedro was fantastic! We learned so much of the history that made Lisbon what it is today. We were also introduced to interesting streets and shops along the way. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour !

This is the best introduction to the complex tapestry that is Lisbon - if you are able to walk at a slow pace and up and down minimal hills (use of the city’s elevators was much appreciated), make this your first activity after arriving in Lisbon. Our tour guide Pedro was exceedingly knowledgeable as he is also a history teacher. The group size was perfect at just 8, and the variety of sights was also perfect - history, culture, architecture, dining tips, and shopping tips. The trade off to all of this great information is that our tour ran long, but no one minded because it was fascinating.

What a fabulous tour with Pedro, an extraordinary student of history. We learned so much from every period of Lisbon’s history! My husband and I seek out tours like this so we can better understand the places we visit. This is one of the best. I wish we were here longer so we could take more of Pedro’s walks. We highly recommend him!

The Revelation tour was a great time. Our guide Pedro, knew the history of Lisbon from its start to present day. He was enthusiastic and eager to share his knowledge and insights.

We booked this tour so that we could orient ourselves to the layout of the city. Our guide met us promptly at the described meeting place and quickly started explaining the history of Lisbon and how it was effected by the 1755 earthquake. He brought us to many original buildings and many beautiful plazas, explaining the monuments and their significance.. He was very conscious of our pace , slowing down on the hills. He was very knowledgeable and always answered our questions in an educated manner. When we finished the tour at the gorgeous viewpoint , all the information came together and the layout of the city revealed itself to us. Great tour and guide.
