We had an amazing day exploring Sintra, Pena Palace, Roca Cape, and Cascais with our spectacular guide, Mario. Mario was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the area and Portugal. He had great relationships with locals and managed all the logistics, allowing us to skip the usual tourist hustle and enjoy the day to the fullest.
This tour truly felt like a VIP experience from start to finish. I can't imagine a better way to see Sintra, Pena Palace, and Cascais.

My husband and I are in Lisbon for four days, meeting up with our college-aged daughter while she's studying abroad + on spring break. We wanted to explore the countryside so our hotel set up our tour with Nunu. This is a MUST DO!! Nunu picked us up right at our hotel and was incredibly knowledgeable about the area, the history and anything we wanted to know. He drove us to Caicas (taking the gorgeous scenic route - a must see!), Sintra and the Pena Palace - all sights that should not be missed on a visit to this area. Nunu was so personable and enjoyable - he created an amazingly special day. He made everything so easy, dropping us off at the perfect spot to explore each area on our own and even helped us get to the front of the line @ Peña palace. This was truly a highlight of our trip to Portugal. Everyone visiting Lisbon should definitely do this tour! Five stars for Nunu!

We cannot recommend this tour enough. It was simply magical! Nuno, our guide, was friendly, knowledgeable, and everything you’d ever want your tour guide to be and more. He took us to the hotel where James Bond originated (the bell boy from the original movie still works there), then to Caiscais to see amazing views and waves. From there we went to Cabo da Roca (western most point in continental Europe - more amazing views), recommended a delicious restaurant for lunch before heading to Sintra where we visited the town, the national palace, and the Pena Palace (and of course more amazing views). All while telling us the history of these great places, having a great laugh, taking our pictures, listening to Fado music, and recommending more great places. We cannot thank Nuno for this amazing experience and memories enough! Thank you! Purely magic!

Nuno is a passionate, knowledgeable guide who clearly loves his country. Our private tour for two was a great day out and it allowed for flexibility in what we visited and how long we stayed at each location. Castles, palaces, wonderful scenery and a great lunch by the ocean!

The tour with guide Nuno was an amazingly memorable! Fantastic views of coasts, forest and most interesting story telling by Nuno, not to mention his superb attention!

We had an incredible day exploring Sintra and Cascais with our amazing guide, Nuno! His deep knowledge, enthusiasm, and fun personality made the trip truly special. From the fairytale-like Pena Palace to the stunning coastal views of Cascais, every moment was perfectly planned. Nuno’s local insights and great storytelling added so much value, and he made sure we had the best experience. Highly recommend this tour—if you can, ask for Nuno!

Mario was the best part of the tour. He was super friendly with my 3 year old son, was very knowledgeable and made the experience so much better. He knew Spanish, English, Portuguese and other languages making us feel comfortable since we speak English and Spanish. Even though it was an 8 hour tour the truth is it goes by fast. Highly recommended!
