Pros:
Guide Catarina was very helpful and made sure the tour was enjoyable, and also provided some history and knowledge of the city at the same time.
Food and locations etc was generally good
Some recommendations were also provided after the tour
The guide and the company made some effort to assist 2 people who were late joining - it's good to know that the company makes an effort to ensure everyone is there.
Cons:
Having been round some local eateries - I think that the cost of decently sized and reasonable quality lunch/dinner for 2 people (total) in the more affordable places is around 20-30 Euros - so we can appreciate that this is not a cheap tour, though clearly some of the cost goes towards providing an excellent guide.
To make the most of it, I would suggest making sure you are hungry (we were).
Minor irritation:
The company supply some instructions on the meetup point and time, which are clear enough, however the location "pin" on the map they supply is actually not placed directly on the statue where we were supposed to meet - the location pin actually seems to be across the road. Can you please fix this - it's surely simple enough to sort out and caused us some concern while we were waiting.

It was an amazing experience. Ricardo, our guide, made us thoroughly enjoy the tour. After a while everyone in the group knew each other. The various stops were very well spaced, so there was a good mix of walking and eating. Definitely recommend!!

If you like to try different food and drinks, this is the perfect tour for you! Ricardo is a great tour guide- friendly ,polite ,and knowledgeable! Not only did we learn about the obvious - food and drinks but we also leaned a lot of history.Never in a rush it was great for us especially since my husband has walking issues and it never was a problem!! Definitely would go again but I would recommend not to eat too much beforehand! Thank you Ricardo for a great day!!!

Loved to hear the points of local history within the food (w/ drinks!) tour. The chicken samosas with the spicy sauce (& beer) at the African restaurant was our favorite dish on the tour.

Ricardo was a great guide and lead us on a fun tour with lots of great food we wouldn’t have found otherwise. Mixed in with some historical knowledge as well. We even ended up going back to one of the restaurants on our last night in the city. Thank you!

Our morning food tour with Eddy on May 23 was exceptional and proved to be one of the highlights of our visit to Lisbon. Eddy’s knowledge, experience, engaging personality, engrossing storytelling, and willingness to answer any question, provided us with the true flavor of Lisbon, literally and figuratively. From the delectable, meat-filled samosas to the delicious croquettes to the pasteis de nata, it was a true tour d’horizon of Portuguese cuisine. Rock on, Eddy!

Great views, great information about the city and culture. Easy pace. I’m a vegetarian so the food was just ok not great. But good for non vegetarian. It’s Portugal. But always invaluable to experience bringing strangers together for food and laughs. Tour guide Ricardo was great!

How intense is the walking
on this tour? Would it be appropriate for someone that uses a cane?

Ours was a leisurely walk and perfectly manageable with a cane. Suggest you speak to them when booking the walk, so that they can organise accordingly
