Andrea was so attentive from the first minute I reached out. Her and her Dad (who was lovely) picked us up at our hotel and the magic began. She is so knowledgeable, sweet and funny. All the attraction tickets were purchased in advance so it was all seamless. We enjoyed a lovely lunch at a traditional restaurant. Highly recommend Andrea, we had a great day , saw so much and learned so much history including the specific pastry of each area!

I highly recommend this Sintra day tour with Andreia! It is the best way to see as many historic and beautiful sites in Sintra while getting a customized and personal experience along with Andreia’s knowledge of history along the way and at each site. We were able to see so much in one day including Pena Palace, Moorish Castle, and the whimsical and mysterious castle, Quinta da Regaleira. I recommend touring in the off season due to the fact there are so many less crowds and more time to see the sites. Our 2 teens loved exploring the secret tunnels and climbing to the top of each site for stunning views! We also enjoyed a delicious meal in historic Sintra at a family owned historic restaurant and stopped for some local handmade treats in downtown Sintra! Andreia took so many great family photos of us and she will do as much or as little as you want. We certainly seized the day in this customized day tour while learning all the complicated histories and mysteries in stunning Sintra!

Andreia was the absolute BEST! She is a real history buff and knows so much about the sites around Sintra. In addition to knowing historical facts, she also knows the practical ones—where to park, best times and days of the week to visit certain sites, where to find the best pastries, everything! She is energetic, fun, and generous—a true pleasure to spend time with, and I would recommend her to absolutely anyone.

Andreia is the best tour guide, so energetic, knowledgeable, and friendly.
She customized my solo tour in Sintra and it was a wonderful time to see and tour inside Pena Palace, the village of Sintra, taste local foods, shop made in Portugal gifts in the arcade, view highlights of the city, and end on a sweet note, two different desserts from Casa Piriquita (established since 1862).
I learned so many interesting facts about Sintra. Andreia is an amazing human and her positive energy charges the tour with each let’s go!
Highly recommended for solo or group tours of Sintra and nearby areas of Lisbon!

Sintra is not to be missed and having Andreia as our guide made it an amazing experience. From when she picked us up at the hotel till our drop off many hours later we were enchanted with her knowledge of the history of the places we visited and her focus on insuring we were happy. Our tickets to Pena Palace and Quinta da Regaleria were pre-purchased by her so no waiting in lines. Andreia also chose an amazing local place where we enjoyed a delicious lunch. She was enthusiastic and had a fun personality. It was obvious she loves what she does. We met as tourists but left as friends, how lucky we were! Later in our travels, she also provided a transfer from Porto to Lisbon with stops in Aviero and Obidos. Another great experience.

I recently took a full day tour to Sintra with Andreia. She is a fabulous tour guide. Vibrant, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Picked me up and dropped me off 5 mins from my hotel in Lisbon. The weather was not great that day in Sintra but we were still able to walk through the town and tour Quinta de regaleira. Highly recommend anyone to book a tour with her and have already recommended her to some friends.

Definitely book this trip! We are on a family vacation, and initially booked for 7 people, however at the last minute we had a few cancellations. No worries at all! Andreia not only adjusted for us, but made sure to check in on the rest of us that couldn’t make it. We got to see Pena Palace, go to Cascais, go to a beautiful and delicious restaurant, and get some shopping done, all within a day! Private accommodations and made out family feel like we were getting the VIP treatment everywhere we went. Whatever we asked to do, she made it happen! Not only the at, but we had a few extra requests for different days, and she made sure to set up transportation at a great price for us! No gimmicks, just good, warm, friendly and fun people!

Andreia was our wonderful tour guide on a private tour to Sintra. She is outgoing and friendly and full of expertise. Her father (Jose) handled the van on the sometimes tricky roads to Sintra, allowing Andreia to give us lots of background about Lisbon, Sintra, and Portugal's history. We visited the Pena Palace, the Regeleira, and had a brief stop in town (with a delicious lunch at the best pizza place in Portugal). It was a very full and interesting day. We have had many guided tours over the years, but Andreia would be at the top of the list!
