We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with our tour guide Ivo. He picked us up from our hotel on time and shared with us a lot of good information about Sintra, the Palace and also Lisbon . An unexpected incident occurred during the tour but Ivo remained calm, patient and professional. The itinerary was planned well and it was not too rush for us. Would highly recommend Ivo and his group for any private tours in Lisbon area.

Our favorite part of the tour was the variety of beautiful and unique places JLo took us too. We traveled through the city to the mountain village of Sintra and down to the seaside exquite coast called Cascais.
I loved being able to sample the authentic experiences , wine, and food from each location.
This thorough excursion allowed us to choose the areas we would like to revisit for an extended vacation in the future.
Of course the most memorable moments were provided by JLo's great sense of humor and extensive knowledge of the history of Lisbon and the Portugese explorers of the world!

I was so thankful for the amazing day that our group was able to experience with
Joaquim as our guide! He helped me plan from start to finish...through messaging beforehand ....and then making our day turn out even better than I had imagined!
We saw every highlight that was on our list and he had a way of bringing the history to life, which made it both interesting and fun!
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for giving us a day , in beautiful Portugal, that we will always cherish. You cannot find a better guide than Joaquim, and Tours de Portugal!

You don't need to look any further, this is the best tour of Sintra and Lisbon available. Joaquin (Jo Lo) is passionate and knowledgeable about his country. He knows the history, the culture, where the best food is and the best views. He is also flexible with his schedule and full of enery. We initally hired him for 8 hours, but when we wanted to see more, he kept touring for 11 hours. His English is excellent, he is humorous and he will keep you safe. After touring Lisbon with Tours de Portugal we boarded a cruise ship and did tours in 8 other ports. All of those tours paled in comparision to Jo Lo's. You can't beat the price or the tour.

Absolute 10 star service.Jack had time in his busy schedule for private Sintra tour on short notice.
I’ve traveled to 91 countries and Jack is right up there in the 1% best guides ever. Very gracious, knowledgeable (but not too detailed or over done) humorous,just a fabulous time!!
