Charlotte was our guide for this Levada walk and she was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and kept things moving along. The hike itself was lovely and very doable for most. It was organized very well

Well organised tour in a beautiful place.
They picked up us at the hotel and the rest of the other tour mates(from their hotel in Funchal). After we went straight to the start point of our walk. There was an 11 km walk from north to the south side of the island. Charlotte, our guide was amazing. She was very kind, friendly and patience full. She guided us through all the steps and made our journey full of excitement. I can recommend it to everyone who would like to know a bit about Madeira and it's beautiful nature. Medium level of fitness is highly recommended. Thanks for the experience once more time. Hopefully see you again. Kind regards, Tibor and Hajnalka

Excellent hike today. Really enjoyed seeing the Levadas and beautiful waterfalls. Guide was funny and educational. Weather was wonderful. Nice stop in Rabacal during hike where you can use bathroom. And get a coffee. Remember to bring euro coins

Very efficient and smooth service. Charlotte was our guide and excellent; she was knowledgeable and patient with the group members that needed more time. It was a good day out; lots of walking and some great photo opportunities

It was well organised - we recieved messages about what to bring and where we would be collected the day before : but was on time :
Guide was very knolagable and accommodated different fitness levels ;
The scenery was lovely /
In august it may be somewhat of a crowded experience but timing by the guides manages this as well as possible

I must say,and age 68 ,sólo,i had one of the BEST experiences of my Life with a most wonderful guide Joana.She was a plus,made me feel like my daughter.Helpfull ,charming,attentitive,and most important most informative.A few travellers told me they only took extra tours because of her.
The walk was uplifting and a MUST DO.

Really interesting walk. Sarah was so knowledgeable and interested in the flora & fauna she made us all passionate about the subject. She managed the group well giving us safety tips and how to manage the crowd that occassionally appear on the narrow paths. Sarah was interested in the people on the tour and quick to share her experiences which all made for a really good day. 👍to Sarah

Booked this tour the day before, Lido were able to fit us in for this trip. The bus arrived only 10mins late as the traffic was extremely busy. Our guide Helden was very experienced with a vast range of knowledge which he delivered during the tour. This was in English and Portuguese. What a fantasy day, this walk was about 8 miles long but didn’t feel like it as the pace was gentle and everyone was catered for during the day. I can highly recommend this tour company. I must mention our mini bus driver who’s name I forget, he was superb.

Pick up on time. Nice transport. Very good driver and guide. Walk is medium difficulty at most but you need wet weather gear, not for waterfalls but for possible rain and clouds. Walk is fairly interesting but narrow in places. Large drops are protected by fences. 800m long tunnel may frighten some! Need a torch. A few steep steps up and down.
