Wir hatten das Vergnügen, an einer großartigen kulinarischen Städtetour in Funchal teilzunehmen, die von der wunderbaren Reiseleiterin Lina geleitet wurde. Sie hat uns nicht nur die Stadt auf charmante und informative Weise nähergebracht, sondern uns auch in einige fantastische Lokalitäten geführt, wo wir die köstliche lokale Küche genießen konnten. Lina war unglaublich freundlich, kompetent und hat die Tour mit ihrer sympathischen Art zu einem besonderen Erlebnis gemacht. Anna was a wonderful tour guide, we went to quite a lot of different places, had great food and wine. We never felt rushed and learnt plenty.

Lovely host who gave interesting information about the town, culture and dining. History of food on the island was explored, and interesting stops to try local dishes

Our tour guide Lena took us to a variety of restaurants, shops and a wine merchants to sample local fish dishes, cheeses, meats and wines. We were guided through the local delicacies and given a great deal of information about Funchal's history both past and present. Lena was a knowledgeable and helpful guide who told us about and showed us places in the town we may have not been aware of otherwise.

We had a great time with Food on Foot tours! Our guide, Darlene, was so knowledgeable and showed us so many places around Old Funchal. Because our tour was on our first day on Madeira, we felt confident in exploring across the island to find more natas, more espetada skewers, and more of the delicious dishes that we tried. I cannot recommend enough taking this tour, especially if you can do so at the beginning of your visit!

Excellent tour. Tasted regional specialties, tasted different wines and learnt the history of Madeira. Our guide Leonore was brilliant. You will not leave this tour hungry! We do food tours all over the world and this rates very highly.

Ana was an excellent and knowledgeable guide. An interesting introduction to the centre of Funchal, some Madeiran history and tasting local delicacies. Anna made sure everyone was included and the small group size made it easy to hear all that she said. Well worth the trip.

Wow, we had an amazing 4 hours of joy. This tour delivers on the numerous stops for food and drinks and was so well paced.Leonora our guide was super; informative and relaxed. Don't have breakfast on the morning of your tour..you are given so much on this tour to eat. Super value.

I do not like fish and she asked why I did not write in down on s application as I could have had alternative.i did not need to as the meat course was fabulous in the local restaurant. The whole meal was great, as was the cake, the chocolates, the tea

Hi, I strongly recommend you contact the tour directly because although this very enjoyable tour was largely accessible, there could be some challenging terrain unless a modified itinerary is available. I hope you enjoy the Old Town, which offers significantly flatter options
