Câmara de Lobos is a very small fishing village easily accessed from Funchal on a local bus for around €2.20. When we visited there was lots of construction going on around the harbour area so it didn’t have a relaxing feel. The little harbour and colourful boats are cute and there’s an a abundance of coffee shops/restaurants.
If you go up the steps behind the large seal mural in the harbour area there’s an interesting piece of artwork - a large stone bottom!! No idea why but it’s a fun place to pose for a photo.

Indeed, Câmara de Lobos is a charming fishing village easily accessible from Funchal by a local bus at an affordable price. The quaint harbor and colorful boats add a special charm to the place, along with an abundance of coffee shops and restaurants.
We're glad to hear that you discovered the interesting artwork located behind the large seal mural in the harbor area. The large stone bottom, although peculiar, certainly provides a fun spot to pose for a memorable photo.

Esta antiga aldeia de pescadores me lembra um pouco a Bocadasse, em Gênova. Uma vila linda e maravilhosa repleta de lugares encantadores, bares, restaurantes e moradores simpáticos e cordiais. Parada obrigatória na ida ao Cabo Girão. Anexo fotos.

Súper pintoresco y animado este pequeño pueblo que estaba todo decorado con cosas que hacen los niños, de manera que veías por ejemplo faroles hechos por niños con plásticos o utilizando latas de refrescos. Tiene miradores fantásticos. Merece la pena caminar hasta el faro y a las calles altas que quedan al otro lado de la bahía. Es un pueblo pequeño y encantador con mucha animación

AMAZING tour with two super guides. I highly recommend. Just a phonecall and they picked us up. The tour began in the direction of the west part of Funchal. Nice views and clear comments from our guides. À Nice stop at Camara de Lobos. A lovely port. Then our guides took us to a high pic view where we had an amazing view.
These 2 guides are highly professionals, very sympathetic, and as they love their country they transmit this feeling easily. Our two teens really enjoyed this unusual trip.
We’ll do it again for sure !!!

Vim pela primeira vez a Madeira e encontrei um homem geitoso chamado de Vitor Pestana pelo caminho. Ao início nao achei graça mas pouco a pouco fui apaixonando por este tuktuk. Fizemos Câmara de Lobos, e graças a uma excelente qualidade de informação e de cabedal consegui adquirir muito conhecimento e desfrutei imenso do tour. O Vitor tinha muito conhecimento da zona o que ajudou na experiencia do tour. Comemos lapas no meio do tour, e sem faltar uma poncha regional tudo oferecido pelo mesmo! Amei!
