The tour started early in the morning and ended in time in the afternoon. We visited part of the south coast in direction West, then cutting North over the middle of the island. We appreciated all stops and we had time to take some nice pictures here and there. We truly had fun!

End of April/beginning of May : We took three tours with Madeira Happy Tours : Nun's Valley (half day tour), Go West and Go East (full day tours). Our guide for the Nun's valley and Go West tours was Tino : Friendly , patient, attentive and knowledgeable. Both tours were very interesting and enjoyable . He recommended the "Dom Peixe" restaurant while having a break during our Go West tour, making sure that we get the best service there - a very good move ! Thank you very much Tino , for being a charming person and making our tours so pleasant.

Louis (Junior) was phenomenal!! We booked the west tour last minute as it was our first time to the island and we were only there for a short time. Louis picked us up, along w two other couples, and we drove around the west all day to different sights, stops, and viewpoints. Louis was an amazing guide who provided a lot of insight, background and cool info about the stops and islands in general that he knew of since he’s a local. Funny & easygoing guy that enhanced the overall trip, we had a great day:) If you can, try to request Louis Junior for your tour. Next time we’re back in Madeira, we’ll be booking happy tours to see other parts of the island.

Ein toller Tag mit Luis von Happy Tours. Mehrsprachig ( Portugiesisch, Englisch, Französisch, Deutsch ) hat er uns sicher und mit viel Informationen über “seine” Insel manövriert und bleibende Eindrücke hinterlassen. Die Stopps waren alle zeitlich gut geplant und alle Passagiere immer pünktlich. Viele Informationen über Land und Leute sowie Botanik konnten wir mitnehmen.
Insgesamt haben wir 3 Tagesausflüge mit Happy Tours gemacht und waren begeistert.
Das Preis-/Leistungsverhaeltnis ist top und eine Weiterempfehlung wert.

Driver picked us up at our hotel on time. Mini Bus was comfortable and we made 8 stops at various sights and had plenty of time to take photographs and even got to see the sight of "Star Wars" location at Porto Moniz Driver was very knowledgeable and spoke fluently in English and was also a very entertaining character to boot.
We booked our trip through Madeira Happy Tours and were very impressed with the service and selection of trips available from this well run Company.

Die Gruppe war dreisprachig zusammengesetzt. Der Scout hat seine Erklärungen für jede Gruppe souverän übersetzt.

All of it, our driver was polite, attentive, knowledgeable and passionate about his beautiful island of Madeira. From the outset they went the extra mile and then some to look after us. We were given plenty of time to view take pictures ask questions about the tour places. We made extra stops. Vehicle clean and comfortable we would happily take more tours with them.

Estivemos 4 dias na maravilhosa ilha da Madeira.
Foram dias simplesmente incríveis é muito se deveu à Madeira Happy Tours e ao incrível motorista/guia Tino!
A Madeira não teria a mesma magia sem esta empresa que facilitou muito a nossa visita à ilha é que tornou os nosso dias muito tranquilos e divertidos!

tour guide Lewis is very aggressive. after he failed to pick up a customer, he dumped his frustration into our friend, and threatened my friend and rudely asked my off the bus despite my friend has paid fully. its totally unaccetable and affected whole tour group!!! we would like to give him "minus star"

Please refund us 25 Euros, we are too polite for this robbery and hooligan company, as we haven't claimed any compensation for damage yet!! if the driver doesn't have sympathy for people just lost their parents, then this person is not fit for anything, should be fired!!!

My concern is pick up point we are staying at the Girasso suite hotel Funchal we do not know the island so can we be picked at the hotel or how near is the nearest pick up point to our hotel

The Girassol is a very short walk to the the offices of Lido tours and Madeira Happy tours if you have booked with them. If not you are also very close to the Monumental shopping centre where I know you can be picked up from.
