We had booked the Old Town/Botanical Garden tour with pick-up at the cruise terminal. Before we arrived, we had great communication with our guide Luis, who kept us well informed about the process via WhatsApp. Unfortunately, on the day of arrival, the harbor pilots in Funchal went on strike, meaning our ship couldn't dock (we were only informed of this by the shipping company at very short notice). The cancellation deadline had already expired, but Luis agreed to a cancellation with GYG. We found this to be sensationally accommodating and were very pleased. Unfortunately, we couldn't go on the tour, but if you evaluate the communication, then we are sure: Luis and TukTuk are 100% recommended! Absolutely TOP!

Andrea was a friendly and knowledgeable guide. The Botanical gardens were beautiful and trip up and down was fun. The tour was interesting.

This was a brilliant tour would recommend to anyone. Our drivers Luis & Andria speak perfect English and know so many facts about Madeira. Perfectly safe drivers.

We had a fantastic time exploring Funchal with Andrea. She has outstanding knowledge about the area and good naturedly answered all of our questions. She has a great sense of humour and we enjoyed leaning about life in Funchal, We visited the Palheiro Gardens which were beautiful and at no point on the tour did we feel rushed. The sign up process was pretty straight forward and we had no issues. If you're in the area, go for a spin on a tuk tuk!

Jardim do Palheiro is one of the least visited in the city of Funchal.
We are betting on the publicity of this garden, with the complement of the guided tour in tuk tuk.
Andrea is a very experienced and talented young woman in her work, so we are very proud to understand your satisfaction in this lovely review.

Une très belle visite de Funchal très bien commentée par Andréa qui conduit son Tuk Tuk de main de maître suivie de l'ascension jusqu'à Monte.la visite du jardin tropical.et la descente en paniers d'osier. à ne surtout pas rater.
Jeunes ou moins jeunes Andréa s'adapte à chacun.; de plus elle est très sympa 👍

We were met by the wonderful Luis at our hotel where he arrived with his Tul-tuk,. He took us through Funchal along the marina and pointed out all the points of interest before we visited the old fort and we then climbed the tiny little roads up to Monte. We visited the church at the top and he then took us to the Toboggan run kiosk where we bought our tickets. The toboggan ride was brilliant fun and at the bottom, Luis was waiting for us. He then showed up a the old town and he pointed out all the important places along the way. The ride was interesting and comfortable and he was so friendly and knowledgeable. He over ran the allotted time by over 1/2 an hour free of charge. A wonderful way to see Madeira! We would thoroughly recommend Tukway tours.
