Weather conditions did not allow Peak hike however, we did an amazing alternative by a cliff where you can see the south and the north of the island. This was a mix of steps, hilly parts, cliffs and ended on a beach. All inside Madeira's forest, well protected from the rain. Enjoyed the guide a lot. Very informative and knowledgeable. The fact that we didn't do the picos did not spoil our enjoyment. Well done Margarita and team!

Die Tour war sehr gut organisiert, die Abholung ein wenig spät, aber ok. Die Fahrt mit dem Bus bis zum Pico Areeiro war lang - über 1 Stunde, aber als Ausganspunkt super.
Für die Tour sollte man eine gewisse Kondition mitbringen, denn 3000 Treppenstufen sind nicht für jedermann. Der Weg ist aber super ausgebaut, ich habe in den Alpen noch nichts vergleichbares gesehen. Natürlich war die Aussicht überall grandios.
Wanderung in einer Gruppe ist zwar nicht so mein Ding, aber hier war es ok, denn der Weg war eh eine Völkerwanderung - aber wo es schön ist wollen auch andere Touristen hin. Der Bergführer war sehr angenehm und freundlich - es hat Spass gemacht mit ihm.
Die Tatscahe, dass man nicht mehr zurück muss, sondern vom Pico Ruivo nach Achata do Taxeira läuft, ist sehr angenehm. Die Rückfahrt im Bus dafür um so länger.
Für jeden Bergfreund ist diese Tour das Highlight auf Madeira und auch mit guten Turnschuhen machbar.

Went for highest peaks. Trip was nice, guide was also nice and communicated well, he told some stories and took well care of us. He said where will be the hardest part and motivated to climb those damn stairs (which where actually a silent killer). Views are amazing. I would recommend to choose these guys for your Madeira hiking adventure

Off to a great start up to the first peak, on the route I started to feel unwell and the driver Nelio Graca, took great care of me and took me for a nice sightseeing tour to the pickup point of the other participants at the Ruivo peak.

Pickup service from outside Funchal at a reasonable price if compared with other companies . The guide was actively grabbing attention on endemic flowers and vegetation as well as taking care about the safety of the group.highly recommended

Best hike ever and amaxing guide. We walked from pico do arieiro to piko ruivo from 10 to 3. Walk is about 11km but the best hike we’ve ever made. Guide was the best guide

The guide must have choosen the wrong job. He was complaining about tourists and their behavior countless times.
On the other hand he did not commumicate the lenght of the lunch break or when we will be picked up to drive back to the hotel but disapeared instead.
Not a satisfying service level at all.

Die Tour war super! Abholung im Hotel und direkt ging es auch schon los. Für die Wanderroute sollte eine gewisse Grund-Kondition vorhanden sein. Wir hatten sonniges Wetter und somit einen wundervollen Weitblick.
Unser Guide war sehr freundlich und witzig. Hat uns an den richtigen Stellen Wissenswertes erzählt um die Natur genießen zu können.
