Fantastische ervaring in kleine groep met een supersnelle boot. De zee-biologe aan boord was heel attentvol en gaf veel interessante uitleg. Op de 2u durende trip, hebben we een school van 50 grienden (pilot whales) en een school van zo’n 200 Atlantische vlekkendolfijnen gezien. Met de nodige voorzichtigheid en respect voor de dieren werden we dichter gebracht. We zijn heel tevreden dat we geen goedkopere keuze genomen hebben. En als kers op de taart kregen we ook nog een hamerhaai te zien!! Proficiat aan het team en spotters.

Nach einer Enttäuschung auf den Azoren hatten wir kaum Hoffnungen auf ein großartiges Erlebnis. Es kam anders. Alles war top organisiert. Wir hatten Glück mit dem Wetter. Doch nicht nur das: Die Tour wurde von einer sehr fachkundigen französischen Biologin begleitet. Nur eine halbe Stunde nach dem Start auf dem Schnellboot gab es eine Grindwal-Mama mit ihrem Baby zu sehen. Dem folgten große Gruppen von zwei verschiedenen Delfinarten, darunter eine relativ seltene. Und zum Abschluss noch eine Seiwal-Mama mit Baby....Dabei wurde jeweils darauf geachtet, die Tiere nicht über Gebühr zu stören. Auch wenn es nichts zu sehen gegeben hätte, können wir den Anbieter nur empfehlen. Die Tour wurde professionell durchgeführt, das Personal war nett und zuvorkommend, der Preis angemessen und es wurde auch nicht auf die Uhr geschaut, ob die 2.5 Stunden schon vorbei sind...

We did the 2 hour whale spotting trip by speedboat and had the best time. We spotted three different kinds of whales near Funchal in just two hours. The captain & marine biologist on board were both excellent, the boat is comfortable and the trip was a blast. Highly recommended.

Jeli jsme na výlet za delfíny. Líbil se mi profesionální a moc milý přístup. Měli jsme štěstí na počasí a klidné moře, díky tomu jsme viděli dvě velryby, jednu dokonce s miminkem, početné hejno delfínů a želvu. Posádka vždy držela distanc, aby zvířátka neplašila a my tak viděli víc. Byl to opravdu kouzelný zážitek.

We saw lots of dolphins and even 1 shark. We didn’t expect to see whales so we were not disappointed. It was interesting to see the island from the water and some farms at the bottom of the cliffs.

We did not see any whales or turtles which my bf was unhappy about, however we did see two separate groups of different species of dolphin which was good. We picked this company as they claim our guides are marine biologists and they don't throw bait into the sea and the money helps with conservation. We went on a speedboat not a catamaran as catamaran was unavailable when we wanted to go, may be worth paying a little extra for a little longer and including free alcohol.

Very nice trip and we saw many folding and also little Wales. The speedboat was a goed choice then we could hardly embrace the animals.
A good boat and very nice and friendly crew. We enjoyed the trip and recommend Oceansee.

We are in Funchal the 2nd week of February.What is the likelihood of seeing Whales,Dolphins and Turtles.
