We had a wonderful time visiting the Douro valley. Igor, our tour guide, was knowledgeable about the wines of the area and the history of the region. He was humorous and provided us with useful tips to make the rest of our visit to Porto a better experience. Lino was an excellent driver and made sure we were transported safely and on-time.
The trip itself was amazing. The landscape was beautiful and even though we took many great pictures, they can not do justice to how breathtaking the actual views were. We had a great experience at Quinta de Santa Julia, a small family owned vineyard which has been with the family for over 425 years. The tasting experience and vineyard tour was very different from the larger wine lodges of Vila Nova de Gaia. I appreciated that it was more intimate and personal with our smaller group of about 22 people. After this, we enjoyed another port wine tasting. Finally, the Duoro river cruise at the very end was a perfect, relaxing end to the excursion before we rode the bus back to Porto.
I would highly recommend this tour. I believe that Igor and Lino, made it an even more enjoyable experience.

We were very lucky to find two empty spots to join this day tour! Igor and Lino made us having an unforgettable experience! This trip is worth even the last euro we spent! Totally recommended! We learned so many things! Thank you guys 🥰

We got up early and walked to the pick up place , where we met Milena our tour guide. She was very fun and lively!! We went to the first winery where our host gave us a very good presentation about the wines and port and why it can be port and when !! Then we tried 2 wines and had lunch. The soup was good but our fried cod choice and rice left much much to be desired … in other words we all wish we had gotten the farmers plate . Lots of wine with lunch and the dessert cake was yummy. Then off to the next place that was in town and was a port tasting … very nice and I got a very nice bottle of port!! But not the one they had for 4500€ and yes that price is correct!!! The our boat ride was nice and then back on the bus and back to Porto!! All in all it was a very good day and the people on the tour with us were really so much fun and Milena has a super sense of humor!!!

We had the best time on this tour in the Douro Valley. The views and experiences couldn’t have been better! Igor was the most incredible tour guide. He had endless knowledge and was a blast to spend the day with!

Delfina was an amazing tour guide of the Douro Valley. Her love and excitement around Portugal was intoxicating and made me feel excited to experience the Douro Valley with her. It was an authentic, tasty, and beautiful day.

The river and Pinhao town was not interested, just a small town with nothing to do.

Beautiful valley/river - well worth seeing. Delfina - our guide was terrific and we felt assured by Julian’s driving. Lunch was only adequate and trip finished late (8pm) disrupting people’s evening plans. Nevertheless it was overall a pleasure. Don’t miss if visiting Portugal.

This is a wonderful day out. The scenery is so beautiful and tasting and learning about the Pirt wine production is very interesting. The whole thing was really well run and organised and our guide was helpful, friendly, interesting and fun. I loved this day trip and highly recommend it.

Une superbe journée avec un groupe très agréable , une bonne ambiance !

Et la promenade en bateau sur le Douro exceptionnelle !

Paulo was an excellent tour guide and everything about the trip was amazing. Our bus driver Silvino was an excellent driver. This was the highlight of our trip. We never expected such a wonderful lunch included. The group of people we met and spent the day with were so fun. We hated to leave the group. Our guides at the wineries were also informative an experienced. This was a great time and I would recommend it to anyone.

Yes; my son is a vegetarian and they provided an appropriate meal for him by asking for any special needs before lunch was served.

Mostly red port wine, but there were a few tastings of white port and rose port! The tour is very beautiful regardless of the wine.

Hi. Where is meeting point for entering to the boat? We will have accomodation close to the river.
It´s possible that trip will be longer than 9hours? We would like to go 4 persons next Thursday.
