We had an amazing time on our tour of the Douro Valley with our guide Luis. The selection of wineries was fantastic and we especially enjoyed out private tasting and tour with one of the locations. Our guide, Luis, was very knowledgable and accommodating. He was a pleasure to talk to and helped make the experience special. Private is the way to go as you can make the experience what you want! One of the top highlights of our trip to Portugal

Brilliantly hosted - Filipa was super friendly, accomodating and patient throughouth the tour. The wineries were well-selected - 2 of the 3 were small, independant wineries where the winemakers/ owners, clearly passionate and exceptionally friendly, were hosting the very small group / private tour and tastings. Lunch was fair, a perhaps smaller (more unique) venue would have been welcome, but no issues by any means (service and food were both good). Would recommend this tour (and host!) unequivocally. Thank you!

This was an excellent tour for both those new to wine, and those who have a lot of experience. The wineries chosen each provided us a different experience to give you a much more well rounded idea of what this beautiful place is like. For those into wine, it was excellent. Not only did you have a chance to try very high quality and traditional wines, but there was also an opportunity to taste things that are a bit more experimental and different. All of the wine was fantastic! Our tour guide was Filipa and she was excellent. Not only was she incredibly knowledgeable about the area and the wine, but she was lovely company for the day. I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to visit the Douro Valley.

This tour was the absolute highlight of our trip! We had the best time. Luis, our guide, was amazing. He was knowledgeable, fun, and took us to vineyards that we truly enjoyed. The communication prior to the tour was flawless and the day of was organized perfectly. We can't say enough great things and would 10/10 recommend this tour.

Jorge was our tour guide. He was lovely and very informative. The Duoro valley is beautiful and we loved our tour of the three wineries. Lunch was delicious as well and is served in a gorgeous setting. I was surprised how much I enjoyed the port tasting as this is not usually a wine I enjoy. All in all, it was a fabulous day!

My wife and I enjoyed a beautiful day in Douro taking in the spectacular scenery and tasting the amazing wine! George our guide was a fantastic host. He was friendly, knowledgeable and a great driver!

We had an amazing day visiting wineries in the Douro Valley! Our guide, Beatriz, was fun, personable, and informative. We were stunned by the scenery and beauty, and the wineries we visited were great. We got to try many different varieties of Port and other wine. Would highly recommend this tour if you're in Porto!

For the Wine Stomping Experience, you should look for Douro Valley Grape Harvest Small Group Tour: Grape Stomping, Wine Tasting, Lunch.
✓ Local guide;
✓ Pick-up and drop-off at your accommodation or any place that you prefer in the Centre of Porto;
✓ Visit to an historical Wine Estate in the Douro Valley;
✓ Wine Tasting assisted by the Oenologists, accompanied by some snacks;
✓ Harvesting the grapes in the vineyard and Stomping them in the lagar;
✓ Visit to the Sanctuary of Moscatel and Tasting of Moscatel Wine;
✓ Regional Lunch paired with White and Red Wine, followed by a Tasting of Sparkling Wine;
✓ Stop at two of most beautiful viewpoints of the Douro Valley.

Four wine tastings is not very specific. Can you give me more information about the different wineries you visit on this tour?

Yes, we had the lunch at a restaurant in Pinhao which of course included meats and fish, but they can provide vegetarian meal as well. The rest of the tastings didn't include meat.
I remembered the name of the place where we had the Moscatel tastings. It's called Quinta da Avessada. You may find a lot of reviews (I'm unable to paste links here).
