The tour guide Vitor was great. Extremely friendly and told us about a lot of the history of the valley and the wine. All the stops had fantastic wine and the lunch was delicious

We visited the Douro Valley in a party of six with guide Steve and Anna. The tour included visits to three vineyards with lunch. Highlight was the visit to the first vineyard which included tastings of olive oil and different flavored honey all produced organically at the vineyard. Lunch was nice served in an open courtyard under olive trees. The tour also included port tasting and advise on selecting, serving and storing port. Steve and Anna were great guides with lots of local information and advice. Very enjoyable day ad would highly recommend this tour.

A wonderful day touring the Douro Valley with our guide, João. His passion for this region and the wine it produces was evident in the level of service he provided. In addition, the staff at each winery were engaging and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend this tour for those coming to Porto for the first time or those wanting to experience the wines of Portugal.

Our guides were Francisco and driver Tiago. Both gave a well presented history tour to the vineyards of the Douro valley.

We had a great day and souvenir! Andres, the guide, was very funny and we learnt many things. We enjoyed a local experience and the envies of coming back one day to this special place!

Safe visit, very well organized. Excellent choice of the various places to visit. Hugo is an extraordinary professional, knowledgeable and lively, careful and very friendly, who adapts very well to the group he is working with.

We did the english tour with Steve which showed us a great time. He was knowledgeable and shared a lot of interesting facts, as well as being entertaining and very funny.
All three vineyards had their charms in different ways and all were worth the visit. The ports we tried were amazing and we also got to taste several table wines.
Lunch was a delicious several course meal with a fantastic view.
Great experience overall and highly recommend the tour as well as Steve as a tour guide.
Enjoy!

The tour "began" 45 minutes late and my expectations were not high. Fortunately, our tour guide from Efun made up for the lateness of the start with an informative and pleasant tour. It helped that the weather was beautiful in the Douro Valley. The scenery was spectacular even though the vines had not started to bud out. The quintas that we visited were all excellent. Of course the Port that we tried was excellent and the vintners (quinta tour guides) were knowledgeable and entertaining. In the end in was worth the wait, but if we had started on time my rating would have been a five.

Dear Robert,
Very glad you enjoyed your tour!
Sorry to inform that the delay only happened because we were waiting at your hotel around 20 min and you never showed up. We emailed you setting the pick up at Pousada do Freixo at 8:45 am since it's distant from the historical center and we spend normally 20 min in traffic when picking clients in that hotel.
Discovering later when you called that you went into the city center. All pick up's were delay that day because of yours that was the first.
We beleive it was miscommunication and probably you didn't had access to your email.
Nevertheless we're happy your tour was great.

Great tour excellent driver / guide great stops , lunch was terrific opened our eyes to the traditions of port in the valley as well as the drinking of it.
