My partner and I, along with 2 other lovely visitors, were guided through Braga, Ponte de Lima, Viana do Castelo, and a surprise visit across the border and into Galicia, Spain.
Pedro was informative, attentive, funny, and accommodating to the priorities and preferences of the group, even when traffic and local festivals managed to force some detours.
We also shared an incredible family-style lunch in a restaurant in Arcos de Veldevez, where he acted like a host, helping to bring dish after dish of delicious regional cuisine.
I would gladly recommend Pedro as well as this specific tour. This wonderfully green and friendly region of Minho is a little of the major tourism radar, but it shouldn't be. It's worth every moment you will spend here!

Having already enjoyed a fabulous day with Pedro marvelling at the Douro Valley, we knew this highly anticipated second trip was sure to be memorable too. We weren’t disappointed. The friendly welcome, immaculate and oh so comfortable Mercedes to ride in and Pedro’s local knowledge made for a perfect day. Don’t be put off by the steps to the Bom Jesus Sanctuary (though Pedro is sure to offer you an alternative if you can’t face them), the effort is worth it for the amazing view and the climb nowhere near as bad as it looks. Ponte de Lima was an unexpected gem and as we strolled over the bridge in the warm sunshine sorry that this would be our last day staying in Porto…but not before Pedro had found us another local restaurant to enjoy a traditional lunch. Whilst I may not be the biggest fan of tripe in any form, it was typically kind of Pedro to have sought it out as I had mentioned that it was my mum’s favourite. We did her proud! Knowing that we had an evening flight, Pedro kindly dropped two of us at the airport on the return journey to Porto but not before a blissful stop by the beach to soak up a little more of this beautiful area. Pedro is an exceptional guide and so generous in tailoring the tours to his visitors interests. I cannot recommend him highly enough and can’t wait to get the chance to return to Porto when we will certainly seek him out again.

Pedro is an outstanding tour guide. He planned and provided a very special day for us. He pays attention to detail and has the background knowledge of the places we visited which made every stop special and memorable. He is very cognizant of the individual interests and needs of his guests and responds with care and kindness. His communication before the tour was excellent. I highly recommend Pedro and this company to anyone planning a trip to Porto.
The day tour to Braga is wonderful. The historic centre is beautiful and Bom Jesus do Monte breathtaking. Pedro chooses wonderful cafes and restaurants for stops and never rushes his guests but encourages them to make the day their own.

Pedro is a great guide and his hospitality was exceptional. The itinerary is well thought out and it gets you out of the more heavily touristy areas into some nice sites and villages. We were lucky and visited Lima on market day (Monday) and got to see how the locals shop their farmer’ market. Pedro is very knowledgeable about the area and its history and he does everything he can to assure a good day’s trip.

After a very short time Pedro was not just our amazing tour guide, he was our close friend. Such an amazing guy and wonderful knowledge. Our tour was a highlight of being in Portugal. The Mercedes van is really comfortable, the places we visited were absolutely what we were looking to experience and every question answered. We had a wonderful lunch and wine at a local family-owned and operated restaurant and great wine tasting.

We had a wonderful day with Pedro. We had five adult, family members on our tour (adult family is not an option in Trip Advisors, Who was with you? question). As others have noted, Pedro is very friendly, very knowledgable, a great driver, and story teller. He tailored our tour for our family, to include making sure dietary restrictions were covered. His passenger van is very comfortable (check out his website for more information on the van). We plan to do more tours with Pedro, soon.

My wife and I had the best time with Pedro earlier this month. It's the second time I do a tour with him (first time was with my dad a few years ago) and I once again had a lovely time. There's nothing I could fault. I also appreciate how he was very interested in us, and in tweaking the tour to our liking. That made it feel like we had a really custom experience
Pedro came to pick us up at 8am outside our hotel and we stayed with him until 8pm. He took us to so many lovely places in the space of this day, and in every place we went to he made it feel special. He is super knowledgeable about all the places he takes us to visit, Portuguese history, etc. so as a history buff I found it very interesting, but it wasn't like he was bombarding us with historical facts either.
I also like how he often offered to take pictures of us in nice spots, as I would easily have forgotten. He drives very well and has a very comfortable car, so we always felt safe and comfy.
For us it was the perfect experience: sights, history, food, drinks, stories and variety, with a feeling of both seeing the famous sights and seeing interesting places out of the beaten path. I wish every guide offered an experience like this and as interested in delighting his guests.

If you're looking to see a comprehensive amount of the Douro Valley with a knowledgeable guide, you should take this tour!
Pedro was punctual, had a nice comfortable vehicle, and was an enjoyable guy to spend the day with. My siblings and I took my parents on this tour for their 50th wedding anniversary. Pedro went the extra mile to have a nice cake for them at lunch. All aspects of the tour were great, it ticked off the entire bucket list of must-sees in this region. My only slight negative is that maybe it's too many things for one day, but I slept well that night! Thank you Pedro, we enjoyed your tour!

Der Tour war ausgezeichnet. Wir haben unter Pedros Führung sehr viele interessante und hübsche Stätte besucht. Pedro hat sich um uns während des ganzen Ausflugs sehr gut gekümmert. Alles war so warmherzlich, dass wir uns wie in einer Familie aufgenommen gefühlt haben. Danke Pedro für deine unvergessliche Reiseführung!

This was the most amazing tour I have taken. Pedro is very knowledgeable. He pays attention to every detail, from the route to all the exquisite food and beverages. The tour more than exceeded my expectations. It was a once in a lifetime day. Pedro treated me like and old friend who came to visit him. I made memories to last a lifetime. This was the highlight to my trip to Portugal, as well as the best food I had during my visit. Thank you Pedro!!!!
